So I hear that the PS3 version cannot import from ME1 into ME3; So should the PC/360 ME players suffer because of this?

Umm... just sayin' but, since PS3 players can't select whether or not they wish to execute Shiala in ME1, doesn't that mean that BioWare could also just ASSUME that she's alive in the PS3 version of ME3? It's not like PS3 players would be screaming, "WTF!? I totally didn't choose not to kill her in that game that I never played!"

This would be true of pretty much every ME1 choice that wasn't covered by the Genesis comic. People just assume that, because the choice wasn't there to make, that it was automatically negated or chosen negatively. If the choice is never made, then BioWare can do whatever they want with it.

So you want Bioware to remove content because of the PS3 version of Mass Effect 2, which apparently only sold 200,000 copies, meaning barely anyone played it... seriously? Please stop posting.

You aren't understanding my post.

My whole purpose of this topic is to explain why the PC/360 version of ME3 SHOULDNT be limited because of the PS3.

Maybe you should have wrote like a normal person than, instead your thread is a giant barely readable wall of text that could have got it's points across with a handful of words instead of a hundred different sentences.

I managed to read it perfectly well.

Just because I refuse to read a giant wall of text doesn't mean I'm stupid, if the OP had a brain and wrote the post intellegently there would be more people in here posting, why? Because the OP would be way easier to read and thus people would be able to read the post quickly and respond, instead most people are gonna see the giant wall of text and just move on.

I mean how many giant walls of text do you see people responding to regularly? The character threads in the character forum don't count because people are talking about the characters not the OP.

Just admit that you are too lazy or stupid(oh yeah i went there) to read the whole text.

Why are you even posting in a thread you didnt read? Its obvious the message went completely over your head when you start raging about things that the OP actually agrees with you on -.-

Some people....

On topic. So Bioware is content on ignoring 80% of the choices we made in ME1 cuz of ps3 players not having original mass effect?

Oh i saved shiala from the thorian and didnt kill her. Wonder if she ever got rid of the problems Zhus hope was having?

Bioware: "Sorry PS3 players will get confused. Thats horrible. So heres Shiala waving in a crowd and you never talk to her. GG

All I saw in the OP post was a bunch of generic and utterly pathetic PC-elitist crap.

As for the imports, does it really matter? Oh no, I can't have this character I met in ME1 who I barely know anything about as a squadmate. My Mass Effect experience is ruined...

Bleh.

Yes. Ask a stupid question, get a stupid anwser.

Then 360/PC users should get all the DLC free that PS3 users got. If already paid for, then we get free Arrival. If that's paid for, then we get free ME3. Now does that still seem like a stupid question? You PS3 users got all those DLCs free others had to pay for and still come in whining and complaining and belly-aching and boo-hooing and blah, blah, blah.

Haha, so you tell someone that he/she is too stupid to read a post in your previous post, then in this one you make a HUGE assumption that something said which has absolutely ZERO factual evidence about it is true?

Maybe you should rethink how you talk to people on here...

The 80% part is an exageration for effect. Guess you havent heard of those yet. And the rest is sarcastic.
Please come again.

Your clearly missing the point. Oh and very mature with the special bus, sadly i'm not going to bite on that one because I have enough maturity not to call people names on a forum.

Just so you know by the way, sarcasm doesn't exactly come out in text, so maybe you should rethink how you type something if it indeed is? ;)

You cannot honestly have believed that i was serious with the bioware quote? Could you?

Well it's not exactly farfetched that people on this forum would take something said as truth if it has negative stigma regarding BioWare attached to it, considering how many people here like to spend all their time ****ing about what BioWare/EA have done to their beloved Mass Effect. You could of very easily been one of those people.

There is nothing "elitist" in OP. We (xbox/pc players) shouldnt be restricted of content because of PS 3 version.

Haha reminds me. Remember all those positive people who were all like: "Hey dont hate on the PS3 players for wanting mass effect on their console!" " IT WONT HURT YOU or your playstyle if biowares gives it to them"

Yeeeeeeeeeaah.

It didn't.  PS3 players just missed out on a few unimportant NPCs that people only care about because they hit on Shepard.

And you speak for the whole of the ME fanbase? I think not.
And dont say it didnt take anything away. Just because you didnt mind it doesnt make it untrue.

Why?

C'mon Cheez, don't make this about Shiala. OP has a point without the minor decisions in ME1 we would all have more or less vanilla ME2. Shiala, Conrad, whoever and other choices like the Cerberus sidequest or getting Dr. Wayne and Toombs to testify ect. That's what makes Mass Effect personal. without it "you're eating KCF without the 17 herbs n spices". That's some bland chicken

When did Bioware said they were going to remove ME1 content because of the PS3? Moving from the 360 to the PS3. I only remember 6 things that had influence ME1. Which turns out to not be much of a big deal. Ok the Conrad thing was kinda of a big thing considering I couldn't get that damn discount. Also by that notion, I guess a lot of things won't count for ME2, considering that ME3 gets a comic book sequence if you move on to play ME3 and not the other 2 games.

Edit: 7 things, forgot the Sharia chick.  Might remember more.

Only brought up Shiala because someone else did.

As for me, I have accepted the fact that there are limitations to what can be done with the ME games and don't want each installment to just be a recap of all the sh*t I did in the previous games.
