So I finally finished DA2 and I really enjoyed it, but not nearly as much as DA:O.

I personally think it is because I rather of been playing as the Hero of Fereldin. I understand why they made Hawk, but I found myself very disconnected from the character.

When I made my Hero of Fereldin, he became me in the game. I didn't see myself as playing a character in the world I saw myself as playing myself. But when I made Hawk I saw myself as playing this character Hawk. The most exciting moments I had in the game is whenever they talked about the Hero of Fereldin I would start thinking to myself "Yeah! Whats going on with me? What have I been up too." And the entire game part of me hoped my Hero would make a camio in the game.

Basically what I am saying is I want the Hero of Fereldin back more then I want to continue Hawk's story.

Anyone else feel the same?
