Jesse , as the project leader I have to ask you a question.

honestly , What do you think new comers to the series should feel when they see all these glitches?
overall its an awesome experience but those little frustrating bugs sometimes ruin the experience.
we just want to know that someone from BioWare is there , listens to our problems and tries to solve them.

I know for a fact now that we are being ignored about the OUT OF SYNC AUDIO ISSUE. Got Mr. Houston on Friends list and he is VERY active on the forums everyday answering to various threads. Amost looks like the OUT OF SYNC issue is being deliberately ignored...

That said lets hope he will take it into consideration after the Genesis patch is released which should be latest wednesday.

If you have him on your friend list can you send him a private message?

In case you can add me as a friend and tell me how he responed OK?

Jesse if you see this , you need to know we are not going to give up!

These problems frutrates every PS3 gamer who bought ME2 and as customers we should get a fine game without any glitches , and in case there are glitches we need to know someone is working to fix them!

each one of us paid 60$ and each one of us should get the best BioWare has to offer! (Paragon speechImage IPB)

this really makes me not wanna get me3 for ps3 :( it's filled with cutscenes and everything single one is out of sync - it's unbearable and takes me out of the experience.

so they only wanna fix what they want <_< thats kinda sad on their part.

i don't think DA2 had this issue, but ME2 and DA2 has completely two different teams i think.

I really feel for you guys. I just bought a PS3 to enjoy a few exclusives, but my ME experience will remain solely on my 360. if you have the opportunity to do so, and you desperately want to play ME2 with less stress, then go for the PC or Xbox versions. Forget brand loyalty.

Brand loyalty? Does anyone care about that? As long as I enjoy the product I don't care to who my money goes too.

I don't think that Shockwave81 refered to either Bioware or EA. Although the term "brand loyalty" means either commitment to a company and its services (for example Bioware or EA) or a product (for example the mass effect series), Shockwave81 probably meant commitment to the PS3 mass effect versions. If this is what he meant, he might be right. I hope that Bioware will contradict this belief via both elaborate ME2 patches (for ps3) and a decent ps3 ME3.

Humans can perceive games in only two main mesureable mediums, visual and audio (motion control aside).

So, dear Bioware, when the sound in your game is COMPLETELY OUT OF SYNCH, WHEN IT'S NOT MISSING ENTIRELY, GARBAGE, you render approximately 50 percent of the experience ruined.

Kindly spend two seconds to at least fill us in on whether you plan to give a damn or not.
It would help us sleep better.

i don't mind out of sync cutscenes if there isn't a lot of em, but this game has a cutscene every 5 minutes! it's really annoying that each one is out of sync.

Their testers are garbage, or they don't read or care about their findings. 100 percent percent of the ps3 me2 players see that overlords hammerhead level is completely screwed up. Shows up instantly, and yet, the game is pressed, sold at premium and not a word of it ever mentioned by an employee. Thats one example. Bioware used to be a god to me. Between this me2 port, and that glorified dlc called da2, I think I'm ready to move on. Bathesda games run terribly but their sound works, god.

EA believed that due to the fact that the ME2 game is fantastic, the ps3 owners wouldn't protest for the bad quality of the ps3 port. EA believed that the ps3 owners would be grateful to Bioware just for bringing one of the best games to the ps3 platform and therefore nobody would protest for the many issues that this port had. This opinion was partly correct, as many of the me2 ps3 fans were just glad for being able to play this magnificent game no matter of its many issues. Of course this attitude showed a lack of respect from both EA and Bioware to their customers and fans, but only a few of as protested. Personally I'm not surpised with the abruptness of the ps3 port. What is really strange for me is that one of the biggest sites about videogames, I'm reffering to IGN of course, didn't even mention a thing about the me2 ps3 version issues. On the contrary, the conclusion of IGN's review was that the ps3 version was the best version! Oh dear! I wonder how come reviews that are supposed to help gamers make the right choices, promote some companies while completely nail others. I wonder if public relations play an extremely important role on the reviews. Anyway, I hope that there won't be many of us here that will say that the remaining issues are not important for them, cause this will definately lead to a mass effect 3 full of issues. In order to earn respect from a company, we (customers) must protest when the quality of the merchandize (mass effect 2 for example) is inferior of what it should have been.

IGN's review is so disgusting. I haven't seen many reviews for this game before I bought it, but the ones I saw/read were all positive. Since then I've been able to find one review that mentions the problems, the guy said that the X360 version was superior and he was branded a fanboy in the comments.

That seems to be the case for most RPGs as of late (not counting JRPGs in this evaluation), or they simply aren't discussed in depth (i.e. Fallout: NV [reviewers made it sound like mild issues] or Two Worlds II [minor glitch or freeze would be mentioned in comparison to a whole lot of other bigger graphical issues on the PS3]).  Funnily enough, I played through Dragon Age Origins again, and I noticed some audio cut-off that I had never noticed before as well.

It's quickly becoming a habit for me now to check the game's official forums, fan forums (or branch off ones like Gamespot's), and also view IGN's user comments. You also get a good bit of user response if you wait about a week after release and look amongst Amazon.com's user reviews. :bandit:

Add to the fact that there's often review embargos so that you don't hear any negative press until launch date (and it's usually in the minority [if it's an AAA+ game]) and you have to be very careful.

Though, I'll note that Bioware, at the very least, has some of the best back and forth between fans. I can actually come to these forums and see some communication going on.

After watching Bethesda barely comment on the Fallout: NV situation for weeks upon weeks, I was certainly unimpressed. Two World 2's unofficial forum (only one linked off the main site) never even offered a response to a general question about the graphical state of the PS3 port. As such, it's nice to know we're cared about as consumers even if it's not as much as we'd wish for. :pinched:
