The way they ignored us with Dragon Age Awakening glitch which to this date has not been fixed despite a thread with around 14k views and 5k replies and the way it is going with Mass Effect 2 it looks more like its a 'Thank you, but I don't give a F**K its your money that I need'

I believe BioWare is an honorful company and therefore will fix this glitch.

However if you are right and they will JUST IGNORE US we need to create a petition and decide we are NOT GOING TO BUY ME3!

Honor? This is business. There is no honor here (and I'm not talking just about Bioware/EA, I am talking about the global market and it's behaviour/market rules). There is only marketing, profit and cost-effect (or cost-benefit) analysis.

I don't know if anyone else has had this problem. When I use the interactive comic it actually just turns to a black screen with Shepard's voice and then the decision.

Your'e wrong ,there are honorful companies , and just because BioWare isn't there to respond it doesn't mean other companies aren't honorful...

anyway I hope i'm right and BioWare will fix that although their silence and their rudely behavior only damges them...

for example my friends saw how many glitches the PS3 version had and guess what , they just downloaded the PC version for FREE and they are always saying how much good it is while we need to FIGHT until they will fix what they need to fix , and I promise you many PEOPLE WHO BOUGHT THE PS3 VERSION will download ME3 for the PC just because they experienced these glitches when they paid 60$!

As of right now. Facts are facts. This issue has been around for awhile now. And bioware has been unable to fix it or has just flat out decided not to put in the effort required to fix a broken product. Its depressing because the company does seem to care for the fans. Looks like I may have been wrong

Many people haven't been able to download the Online Pass (including comic) for this game due to the Playstation Store being down since the PSN outage. Many people could even be avoiding playing their copy until this download is available, so we should expect a large group of new users who show up and post here once it is. Maybe once the game is fully operational (with the Playstation Store being running) they are going to push an update.

It would only make sense to release a patch BEFORE a large group of new customers use your software, and not after. So please, patch the issues (or revert back to 1.02) before the Playstation Store returns.

*cough*

"and I promise you many PEOPLE WHO BOUGHT THE PS3 VERSION will download ME3 for the PC just because they experienced these glitches when they paid 60$!"

Yep, this is basically the end result: me not buying another product from EA or Bioware in the future. It's funny, because if you made a thread about how to steal games it would get immediate attention and be deleted. But if you make a thread about a problem with a product you OVERpaid for, it gets completely ignored.

I knew my reasoning behind hating EA was correct, and I broke my boycott against them to buy this game because it was supposedly the best game of 2010 (which it was not, Heavy Rain was). While I enjoyed what I played of the game after 30 hours, I will never EVER get behind Bioware again and neither will my friends/family.

Bioware, get your act together: fix your game or find yourself a publisher who will let you. This product is not the standard of quality you are known for, and YOU know it.

Bioware has slid to the point where not only is buying ME2 DLC off the table, but I have serious doubts about ever purchasing a Bioware product again. I was lucky to avoid the soul-crushing, game-breaking bugs, like the total loss of save data, or the insanity trophy glitch. Seriously, how many (tens of?) thousands of hours have been wasted collectively by gamers because of these 2 bugs? Not to mention the very negative emotions that accompany them? It's always great to spend $60-70 on something that produces infuriation and naught else. Playing ME2 on insanity mode with the spectre of the insanity trophy glitch looming tainted the experience for certain. As did the numerous glitches encounter throughout. From the consistent glitches -out of synch audio during cut scenes, conversation dialogue cutting off, to the random, more anomalous - Shepard turning TOTALY black, a shadow with no visable features, and having to reboot because I couldn't leave the planet after completing Mordin's loyalty. 3 times. I haven't even touched DA2. The user reviews were overwhelmingly negative, and seem rational and well thought out fot the most part. And I know it's too late, but EA sucks. They just suck. I was starting to warm to them slightly around the time of Burnout:Paradise. No longer though. I'm going to keep ME2 and spare it the indignity of being only the second game I've traded in out of the 91 PS3 games I've purchased. But I think I'm done with Bioware. Thanks for KOTOR, but since then it's been a whirlwind of "casualization" aka dumbing down the product, and general steps backwards. You might want to look behind you, and see where those steps are leading.

Hey, I have somewhat of a confession to make.  I probably should have TRIED the new patch before bashing Bioware.  I assumed that the issue would occur once I finally got home to my PS3 to try it out myself.  I played the entire Tali loyalty mission with the new patch and tried to hear every dialogue choice, and didn't have a single glitch the entire play-through (other than being caught in the environment once).  I should mention that this is the disc-based version of the game, so I would be interested to see what version you guys are using.  I have played the game on various patch versions up to this point, and haven't had any out of sync dialogue or cut off audio.  Hell, I had a hardcore PC gamer telling me the PS3 version was superior the PC version due to the engine quality.

I would like to remind you all that if this problem were more widespread, we'd be seeing a LOT more posts already.   If each page has 25 posts, and most of them are posts by the same people, there are likely less than 30 people who have reported this problem.  Try and rebuild your PS3's file structure from the PS3 recovery menu, and see if that fixes anything (I actually did this after installing the new patch, but before playing it, due to my paranoia from your problems).

Anyway, I'm going to keep playing and see if I get any issues.  I'm running a dusty old 80GB CECHE01 model manufactured in June 2008. Everyone should report their model, and also what format they are playing the game in (PSN or BluRay).  This may help Bioware pinpoint your issue.

So the out of sync audio problem still hasn't been addressed? I finished ME2 only once and decided to give it a rest, wait for a few patches to fix the horrible mess and then do a second run. I haven't visited this place in months and from what I can gather, not much has changed. I gotta say ME2 has honestly been the worst game purchase I have made to this day. The original price was pretty steep to begin with and I had to wait for - what was it, a month? - to be actually able to play the game without encountering some game-breaking bug every hour or two. Of course the price had dropped considerably by that point and now it's ridiculously cheap. I can't believe I payed that much for one nerve wrecking playthrough.

I was looking forward to Arrival, but I decided to wait. At this point I'm pretty sure I won't be getting it, not anytime soon. I don't know. ME3 was one of my most anticipated games until recently, but having experienced all this, I kinda lost interest.

Hmmm. still not fixed and no acknowledgment from Bioware? Customer service fail :) The day the problem is fixed is the day I'll play the game again. looks like I may never play Mass effect again.

Indeed that's pathetic. Now that they are focusing on Mass Effect 3 I guess we can safely say they are done with Mass Effect 2 and won't give a damn no matter how much we whine on this forum. Same crap as with DA Awakening good job Bioware

I haven't given up on Bioware yet. People stop being so angry. Yes the audio glitch is still there, but they did fix a lot of other things. Give them some time. By moving the release date for mass effect 3 they showed us that they will not rush out an unfinished game, that has to account for something right?

LOL by moving the release date for Mass Effect 3 they showed us that they are way too scared to risk their game flop against juggernauts like Skyrim. I don't buy into that 'oh yh we moved the release date so that we can polish the game blabla'. Maybe they are polishing the PC and 360 versions I doubt the PS3 version is getting the extra attention it needs to be on par with the other ones. Enough low quality products have been tossed at us PS3 gamers

I agree, I have not played ME2 since May 3, been playing the only game I own that is 99.9999% bug free 53 hours (in one week) of play and not one crash. I start ME2 today and figured give the patch a chance installed 1.03 and guess what 1 hour into game play the game locks up. Well the good news is that now only the game locks up and I still have control of the remote to turn off / eject disc instead of the need to use the buttons on the console.

Should have just left the 1.00 version in at least that one I new would crash now the crashes will have a different pattern and no idea if there will ever be a fix for the fix for the fix. :(

OK so I reboot the game via eject disk and start playing again and a few mins later going on Tali Loyality mission
and after selecting weapons all I see is a black screen and audio not sure if was crashed or what happen. Pressing the PS button lets me exit game and access the PS3 menu system. Never done this prior to 1.03 patch. and yes I played it a few hours total ov 215 to get plat trophy and several more plays with different classes, Currently on Vanguard , just finished IFF and on the ship it crashed.

I see that they've still not patched this problem. One wonders if Mass Effect 3 will have the same issues since the engine is the same!

So... no work on the audio glitch? This is getting annoying, thinking of switching to v1.00 actually...
This is a RPG game with heavy dialogue, but they bugged the audio with their last patch and refuse to comment on it? wth Bioware?

Guessing that the tech person you chatted with was just following a standard script.

What this support person should have done is escalate the issue to the next level.

NOTE: I recently did a test of the 1.03 patch and the dialog does cut out, I reverted back the original version (deleted the DLC/Updates not the main program) and noticed that even with 1.00 there were cut dialogs.

Maybe the issue was always there, not sure. Or maybe need to fully delete the DLC/Updates and Game installation as well. and do a clean install of ME2. As I do  not recall cut dialog in the original installed version when I first installed on it release date, Jan 18, 2011.

I do not recall any sound cut dialogue in the original installed version. But with the corrupt save bug glooming over me I prefer the latest version, even if the dialogue cuts off half the time during cut scenes.
Hej Bioware any chance to fix that btw?
