There is, as far as I know, no agreement or contract that obligates BioWare to fix an issue they have acknowledged, nor is there anyting forcing us to create a patch for one of our products.

Listen closely. I will not buy Mass Effect 3 unless the serious problems with this Mass Effect 2 port are solved. I can only speak for myself, but I suspect that I'm not alone.
