As for Shep...I like Mass Effect, I really do, but BioWare's made it clear Shep's not our character, he's "predefined." And by the time ME2 came along, I found myself cringing when every single dialogue option, including ostensibly Paragon choices, made Shep sound like a tool and a jerk. Hawke did VA much better. There was a wider range in tone, the intent was clear, and the dominant personality system allowed you to craft a distinct character. (Plus, m!Hawke can enjoy some Anders love, while Shep just sits in his bunk craving Kaidan in vain.)
Who are you more attached to?

For me, Hawke. DA2 provides more outlets to look at his personal life and relationship, whereas the Warden felt disconnected from the events in Origins at times (especially some origin stories over others). I'll also add that the VA really helped me identify with Hawke. The Warden was so stoic at times, it broke the emotional involvement in some scenes.

The Warden
DA:O was a much better game as a whole, and it helped me 'get into' my character better than DA2 did.
The Warden did feel like he was 'MY Character', unlike the two other listed protagonists.

Hawke, I prefer role playing a voiced protagonist and the role playing was done better in DA2 than in ME.

The Warden gets the first place.
Hawke gets the second place.
Shepard? I really hate this guy because he carries that idiot ball.

Hawke > Warden > Shepard
Crafting the character-driven story of Hawke was much more enthralling for me than playing the story-driven story of the Warden, which in turn was more endearing than participating in the cinematic adventure of Shepard. Connotations here are key.
Though I think the Mass Effect setting, when viewed separate from Shepard, is much more atmospheric and polished than Dragon Age. Shepard as a character, however, is just a bit too larger-than-life for my tastes to care as much about him or her as I do Hawke. The Warden is somewhere in the middle of them.

Lady Shepard is at the top of my list, followed by my Dalish Warden, and then my Miserable Bastard Hawke. Poor Hawke. Always on the bottom....

Warden, and I haven't played a lot of ME2 yet, but I like Shepard better so far (probably because the VA Ms. Hale is so damn talented). Hawke last. Poor Hawke, she was just a car on rails that drove me where BioWared wanted me to go.

Like a NASCAR race? Just run around in circles for hours? hehe.
I flushed a bag of skittles down the toilet and had an 8 second NASCAR race.
Warden and Shepard are close, I'd give it to my warden (seconded to the sub-par VA for male/female hawkes, male/female Shepard's were leagues better)

That's a hard one, but I think I might have to go with Shepard. With the content references from the first game, when you import your save, Shepard really felt like a character that was progressing through a story, whose actions meant something and who had something to win and lose in her story.
My second Hawke is a close second, as I really got into her through the course of the story. I put a lot of investment into her the second time through and really got into the rp of the character. (I've mentioned the stuff I did to achieve this in other posts and won't repeat it here)
I liked my Warden, but in the end I felt like too much was taken out of her hands and there wasn't enough visible consequence to her actions. (most missions really felt like my decisions had no real impact - and while this may have been just as true in DA2, you got to see the impact of your decisions in the side stories and the *illusion* of consequence was better)

None because none of them feel "real" due to fact that they are what I choose them to be from appearance to personality. They're more like a robot or just an avatar. They are the tool/key I'm using to explore/interface the game world. I get more attached to (care more about) the NPCs.

It can't be Shepard or Hawke for me because their characters are predetermined in what they do during their respective story lines. The Warden OTOH, can change the story outcome and and how to approach the direction of the game by converging paths, then choosing what quest to do first. You have these choices somewhat in ME2 and barely at all in DA2.
So, for me it is clear, it is The Warden. Just to add: I really enjoyed ME2, though it isn't what I expected in a true RPG or compared to Mass Effect.

I'd have to say Shepard. After 2 playthroughs of ME and one of ME2 using the same male Shepard, I found I couldn't replay as a different class male character. The voice with a different face just felt wrong!

Hawke. Or FemShepard, but that's a different game so not applicable here, methinks.
I didn't like Hawke at all at first, s/he felt weird after DA:O. But then s/he grew on me.
I guess I prefer Hawke and Shep because I can't pick a favourite Warden. There's such thing as too much choice and it kinda waters down the Warden for me, compared to Hawke/Shepard. Not to say I dislike the Warden or wouldn't enjoy playing another DA with Origins kind of choice, just that now that I've seen both ways of handling the protagonist in DA, I prefer the Hawke way.

Oh Shepard well,
You came and you gave without taking,
But Ash sent you away.
Oh, Shepard well,
Kissed Miri and stopped her from shaking,
And she needs you today.
Oh, Shepard
What was the question again? Oh yeah, Shep by a country mile

I really liked both my Hawkes. I had a female warrior who tended to pick the mean or direct approaches but was really supportive of mages due to her close bond with Bethany, but my male rogue Hawke was fun too. He was mostly sarcastic/charming and was definitely anti-,mage!
I liked all 3 of my Wardens so far too, though I prefer the 2 females. The male was a pain to start with as he was originally evil but I warmed to him and let him redeem himself in the end.
I got ME2 on the offffer recently but didn't really get into it, then again I was expecting that. Plus my female Shepard looked like a transvestite which didn't help at all!

I made about half-a-dozen Wardens, so it's hard to say I was "attached" to any of them in particular. Maybe the "idea" of the Warden. It is very classically romantic: a character that most forsake family and friends and live a shortened, hard life in order to constantly fight against the forces of unrelenting evil. It's a tragic tale. But I can't say I was attached to any of my particular Wardens in particular.
Hm... Shepard? Not really attached to him either. I admire the one I created - he's an epic space hero the likes I've rarely seen before... but attached? I'm more of a fan, actually.
That leaves Hawke... I've made several "Hawkes" too and I'm not that attached to any of them. I admire his/her struggles, and the Hawke family's tragic struggles and tale. But attached? Can't say I am.
So in short... none of the above.

My City Elf Warden, then Hawke. I never got to play ME, just ME2, so I am not all that attached to Shep.
