Hi

I just installed my NWN2 (DVD version), and I can't update it using the built in updater. It says "The patch has been aborted".

I have Windows 7 (64-bit)

So.. what do I do?




I can't believe that it should be so hard to patch a game, from the vanilla state. I have wasted ½ hour looking for an answer without any luck...

Hm, do you need to run as admin/turn off UAC perhaps? I actually just installed from dvd onto a win7 64bit machine today and was patching fine, but I have UAC off.

Apparently you almost need to be an expert to do something as simple as patch a game from scratch. I wonder if Bioware/EA will ever learn from Blizzard's user friendliness.

EDIT: weird. Tried running updater a few time, and it actually managed to patch up to 1.23 which I assume is the latest version

Who knows but neither of those two companies had anything to do with NWN2.
