I finally got around to start adding some of my games to the GameStop Library thingie, as I am adding look what I saw on my screen:

A couple years ago, Bioware stated that they were definitely planning on making mass effect 2, and expanding on the jade empire franchise. Bioware is the best game developer, and to expand the jade empire series would be awesome. Jade Empire is personally one of my favorite games, besides mass effect series and the ORIGINAL Halo

I'm fairly certain BioWare never denied a Jade Empire 2. It was only on pending status.

That would be a good outlet for all their "awsum combat! Awsum button!" needs. Melee action combat gameplay benefits from that approach, unlike pause-and-play party based gameplay.

If BioWare wanted a more action game RPG, JE would be the franchise to do it, not DA.

I so hope this is true. I've seen a few things that supposedly said they wanted to expand on it. I think it was a matter of having the team free to work on it. Too many projects I think.

I caught that Gamebanshee article earlier today. It made me feel incredibly excited until I realized they were talking about 2006/2007. Chances are high BioWare canned the project. I would love, love *love* a Jade Empire sequel. It is on my list of top five games I most want to see made before I croak. Make it so BioWare!

I too would love a sequel to Jade Empire, one of my favorite BioWare RPGs. Definitely in the Top 3!

Please make this happen. A JE2 would be just what I want to see coming out post ME3, preferably before DA3 as well (give them some extra dev time to truly let it shine!).

I would love, love, love for there to be a JE2. I too caught the gamebanshee article earlier today. Unfortunately, it was circa 2006/2007 when they were working on the game. About the same time some supposed JE2 screens leaked out, I believe. I think we'd have heard about it by now (it's been almost five or six years). Perhaps they'll revisit the IP someday. I sure hope so.
