I'm a bit of a one-trick pony here, but I would have loved a little tryst with Nathaniel in the Deep Roads.
I would also have liked to see an Aveline romance. I think that could have fun. Or well, Cullen. Without all the cray cray, he was extra hot in DA2.

If anyone doesn't approve of a Varric romance (at the very least for femHawkes), they clearly have not seen the fantastic and hilarious fanart by Aimo on deviantart. Just sayin'. (She does fantastic DA fanart in general, go watch her!)

- Cassandra, she's cool, bummer she gets to Kirkwall a bit too late, hope to see her in DA3 or a DLC
- Sister Petrice, I got a knack for b**chy women and she doesn't look half bad (I blame my twisted tastes, yes)
- Lady Elegant during year one so she wouldn't marry; she seems a normal, fine-looking woman, exactly what Hawke needs after dealing with Big Bads on a daily basis (reason enough to have him/her romance Isabela out of the possible LIs, she's the most carefree)
- Aveline, always wanted to date a wrestler

I always thought Jaheira was more interesting. Sure she can be abrasive and cutting at times, but she was complex. Imoen was more interesting with time, but annoying in the first game. By the second game she was kind of cool in a bizarre way. Both ended up being nice characters so, to each their own.
I'm not sure I would want a character to romance any of the NPCs in DA2. None of them are really appealing to me.
