Yeah, and, on an inconsequential note, the poll. (Percentages are a bit broken though, stupid BSN!)

Old televisions are black and white.
Penguins are also black and white.
Therefore, penguins are old televisions.

I fit in my pyjamas. My pyjamas fit in my suitcase. I fit in my suitcase. :D

Seriously, though, your logic is flawed. You're assuming that the writer would be incapable of writing the dialog for one character without resorting to "meta-writing" (i.e.: bearing in mind what the writer knows but what the character isn't supposed to.) It's perfectly reasonable and in-character for Ashley to advise against sparing the Rachni queen, no matter what the potential outcome.

I really, really hope it does...
But knowing Bioware I really doubt it will.

Ashley won't argue with you if you decide to kill the queen. She makes one comment that this is the last of their species and leaves it at that.

Perhaps... But have you ever had your liara suggest killing the Council while Ashley was shocked at this suggestion?

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, I however don't see it going that way.

No, because I never Charm/Intimidate Ashley into being a Paragon.

I have however heard Liara advocating sacrificing the Council. There is nothing special about it. Shere merely alters her stance a tiny bit to say that saving the galaxy is more important than saving the Council.

I hope they punish Paragon in some ways because compared to my Renagade Shepard my Paragon one has always been proven right. From the Wrex to the CB from what we know thusfar about ME3.

Wrex was never a Paragon/Renegade choice: if you hadn't done his quest, or hadn't persuaded him, he died regardless. The only difference was that while Renegade Shepard would shoot Wrex personally, Paragon Shepard gets saved by Ashley.

Actually, I let the Queen live because it would be epic to fight either with or against a real Rachni army in the future. I rewrote the Heretic Geth for similar reasons. I wouldn't mind if they turn on me- it will only make the universe more interesting.

I rewrote the Geth because if I can't make peace between the Quarians and the Geth, I want the Geth to have a sufficient army to destroy the Quarians :o

I wouldn't mind. "No good deed goes unpunished", as the saying goes. Not every decision should be the right one. In fact, it'd be nice if both Paragons and Renegades had a selection of "bad decisions".

You have a strange notion of what constitutes "proof", Zulu. But I would not mind that.

People are just going to metagame ME1-ME3 playthroughs if percieved "bad" things happens due to their previous decisions, you watch. Then we will have a step by step guide for the "best" ending. RP? what's that?

Ash was right that the Council would abandon humans. The Council claimed humans need to fix their own problems with the missing colonists.

The COuncil sends SHepard to his death fighting the Geth at the begginning of ME2.  Shepard was becoming a nuisance and no longer served their personal interests

Ash was right that the Alliance needs to strengthen itself and stop bending over for the Council.
In ME2 the Alliance can't properly act on the abducted Colonies.lack of manpower or overwhelming responsibility.

- The colonies were not in citadel space. If I go to another country with a few friends and we decide to establish a new, independent settlement claiming that everything within a mile around us is now ours, and then the police shows up, should I expect my country to bomb them? If war doesn't happen, is it reasonable to say that my country has abandon me?

- The council didn't know a collector ship would appear. They sent Shepard to fight Geth. Since Shepard had killed like 903480293487 Geth already, you can't really call it "sending her to her death".

- It's rather lack of jurisdiction. See the first point.

The Alliance didn't abandon those colonies they made formal requests to the Council to send aid and the Council said screw off solve your own problems.

THe COuncil wanted the Geth to kill Shepard, they weren't expecting a Collector ship.
SHepard is a spectre, the Council, could've easily dispatached military personnel from the Council races to deal with the Geth holdouts.  Plus they didn't like Shepard running around like a religous zealot  "THE REAPERS ARE REAL".Image IPB.

letting wrex live isn't paragon, and just because Cerberus is trying to kill shepard doesn't mean that the collector base won't help stop the reapers

I agree. Eploring and upgrading, get a lot of persuation points and being open to other possibilities than what you thought was right is what rewards a player. This has nothing to do with paragon, renegade or punishing anyone.

And considering the Rachni, well, as much as the OP likes to think he is always right no one will know anything untill ME3 is here.

Yeah, and, on an inconsequential note, the poll. (Percentages are a bit broken though, stupid BSN!)

Depends how many of them are huskified.  No matter with who you ally, Reapers can assume direct control of some of them one way or another. We have seen lots of Cerberus husks and still some think, that it would be good idea to keep hanging out with TIM. And we will be getting help from Alliance fleet, but we know, that it takes only few hours to turn Alliance marine into a husk.

When you have proof that every single rachni in existence is being turned into husks, I'll listen. Until then, try to base something on facts instead of assumptions.
