I agree. Unless there's a possible ending where it's a total bloodbath and Shepard fails.

I think there should be some dramatic cutscene showing the unthinkable consequences of failure, if for no other reason than to highlight the importance of success.

Well,being Mass Effect I don't think I'll be disappointed by anything,unless I don't get my favorite squaddies back, I'm sure the ending will be epic but I figure if victory comes from just one thing it would be kind of silly,I think it would be kind of cliche if it were a "There may come a day when the courage of man fails,TODAY IS NOT THIS DAY!" kind of thing

I'm sure the bloodbath scenario is more than possible. I certainly agree that if you do screw up the consequences should be in your face dramatic. Not that getting half your crew killed in ME2 wasn't but sometimes the impact didn't carry weight, especially when it would freeze in the middle to load your choices; that kind of ruined the immersion.
