Back on topic.  If I had to choose between the turians and Earth, well, Earth is pretty much screwed within the first few hours of the invasion, anyway, so what's the point?  The only reason I'd ever consider sacrificing an entire civilization is if it were the only way to stop the Reapers and save the galaxy.  A last resort, if you will.

Honestly, I don't care who the species is. Human, Asari, Quarian, etc. If sacrificing one of them means the reapers and their cycle is finished... Then so be it.

Probably not, unless I really had to.  I would not doom one species just to save my own, unless I felt they're screwed anyway. *Cough* I'm looking at you Quarians... Brave Little Toasters FTW! Or perhaps Brave Little Flashlights? Anyways species importance tends to go something like this for me...

I just read the GI article today and it says something about having to make a sacrifice in the same section where it talks about probably being unable to be friends with every species. I've though about and--assuming I can choose which species to sacrifice--I'd go for the Asari too.

Total victory for the reapers would mean all Council races die and the reapers will be repeating the same show every 50,000 years. If that circle can be broken by sacrificing the turians then so be it. The fact that you like or dislike Garrus or the ambassador should be irrelevant. Obviously there is more at stake than a couple of tears or another subjective emotion.

Sacrifice the Turinas?? No way!!! They only species I'd sacrifice are the Humans. In the ME galaxy, the only humas you aren't horribly annoying and unbearably ugly are the ones that join your squad, except Ashley, she's actually the best representative of Humans in Mass Effect, fugly and annoying beyond comprehension. Id rather hang out with Elcor and Volus than other Humans.

I'd sacrifice Earth if it was the only way to stop the Reapers. I'd save as many humans as possible in the process but for the survival of the Galaxy no race would be safe. If it meant their destruction for the Reapers to be stopped, then so be it. They are doomed either way.

Without hesitation? No way. Even though I didn't care for that **** on the Council, Garrus and a few others like that General Septimus weren't that bad. Although if I had to pick in between saving the krogan and saving the turians, I'd pick the krogan hands down because of the genophage.
