anyway, he will fight until he has the largest adopted military force in the galaxy and make sure that EDI keeps it on the straight and narrow. so if someone go's rogue or a bad leader takes over after shepards death than she will "terminate" them.
in the end he will have patrols on every colony every 2 days with constant moniters for slavers and if they are they hit a beacon and the nearest patrol is only a few hours away and hot on the tails of the slavers, he will however protect all species, not just humans. he will also dedicate alot of his earnings from the slavers bases to replicating reaper technology so that they can never be caught off guard ever again. he will also attack any wrongdoers, people similar to donovan hock, the rich overpaid criminal scum of the galaxy. this organisation will be made up of each species, be it rachni, geth, quarian (who i engineered peace with), even batarians if they're willing.

Upon defeating the Reapers the greatest known threat in the Galaxy Shepard finds himself waking up in the Normandy SR1's med bay surrounded by ashley, kaiden, chakwas, and anderson.
Shep: Oww my head, what happened?
Ash: The beacon on Eden Prime knocked you out cold sir
Kaiden: We dragged you back to the ship
Shep: Wait...no..that can't be.
Anderson: Whats the matter Shepard?
Shep: Well I had the strangest dream, we were fighting the Reapers, and there was quarians, asari, turians, Martin Sheen...and you were there...and you ash...you too Kaiden... and there were sexual inneauendos for Garrus and something about thermal clips... and a giant enemy crab... and the Turian counciler was a giant d*ck... good thing it was all a dream right?quote]

My Shepard is going to end up dead, having sacrificed his own life for his crew...and most likely for other organic species along the way. Truly, an action like this propels Shepard into legendary status...his will becomes a legacy that will be passed on forever.
Unfortunately, Shepard already died once, so it's not really all that epic. To me anyway.

OR in an alternate version of events . . .
Distraught over her failure to keep her love Garrus alive in the final onslaught against the Reapers, Shepard willfully submits to The Illusive Man's last ditch plan, accepting a cybernetic overhaul into a hollowed out Reaper body, becoming an AI overlord herself, and taking command of the remainder of the reaper forces. She leads them away to a distant universe in her new role as herald to the Reaper horde.

I don't mean retiring in the traditional sense. I mean if you had to pick a place to settle down for a bit. You know raise a family and that jazz.-Skorpious- wrote...

Maybe I should have asked where would your Shep choose to raise his/her kids. Yes that would have been more accurate.Big stupid jellyfish wrote...
No settling down for the Spectres! Assuming the fight in ME3 would be good and my Shepard would want to continue being a Spectre after all is over. (An apartment on the Citadel would be nice to have, though.)

I still think it would be. Imagine..well I can't actually think of any sacrificial scene without it being cliche...like riding the Normandy into a Mother Reaper...or detonating a bomb...or...haaha, I think you get my point.
Anyways...I tend to "forget" about Shep dying in Mass 2...I like to think of it more as, "being sick..."
LOL. Actually...as being in a coma...and Cerberus just enhanced him to function once more.
Yes, I know about the tubes of meat and all...but I mean...I have a great imagination...one that can conjure up a little bit more than the "death" scene that was laid out before us.

F that. Worst possible ending. Rather let the Reapers win.

But in all seriousness, Shepard would set up a shop, called I am Commander Shepard, and I am ASSUMING DIRECT CONTROL!
Or just die, then get reborn...by Harbinger

Then when Shepard is getting older (like fifty or sixty, depends on how long stuff like cybernetics and implants and medicine can keep him going) then he'll go to Ground Zero or some other place and train new Alliance soldiers and make them skilled badasses like him.

i can't decide between this or setting up back on earth to help rebuild with miranda once more, then once they're sufficuently re-built we will move out to one of those small shack thingy's on some lowly populated garden world with the mako, ocasionaly going back to the citadel to see if there is anything that can be done about miranda's sterilitybbbbbb wrote...
my shepard would set up on illium with miranda and run a paramilitary group who specilises in hunting down slavers (colonist born and raised(well....till sixteen i spose)).
anyway, he will fight until he has the largest adopted military force in the galaxy and make sure that EDI keeps it on the straight and narrow. so if someone go's rogue or a bad leader takes over after shepards death than she will "terminate" them.
