My Shepard plans to come back home to Earth with Miranda and relax and enjoy some R & R as well telling Hackett to go F himself
So at the end of the day where does your Shepard retire to?

Either dead, which I dunno why but I kinda hope for, or take off with jack and liara in the SR2, you know, you can go pirate with that thing.

My FemShep will retire someplace on the Citadel...Most likely...With Liara, and have 2 daughters together. One of the daughters will continue her legacy when Shep passes on.

At the end of ME1 this was asked. I pictured my Shep retiring to a planet like Illios, a tropical lush planet full of Prothean tech and ruins for Liara and I to explore while we grew old. Or rather I grew old and she didn't change.
After the sneak peaks and spoilers of the ME3 story, earth has be fragged, things are really bad. Assuming we win, I'm guessing my Shep won't be retiring, he'll have enough to do helping rebuild and protect a razed earth and crippled human race, that he'll be busy way past his military retirement and likely well into the golden years.

For my canon Shepard, I figure she will stay on w/ the Alliance to help w/ reconstruction for a few years, then either go into politics or just retire outright to Mindoir w/ Liara and their blue children.

Dunno as I said. Seems fitting though. She fights her way through impossible odds, saves the galaxy and well most people cant live after that they wouldnt know what to do. I cant see my shep ever slowing down, but I think she would rather go down in a blaze of glory then fizzle out and never be remembered. Also, it gives her final peace.

I could see Shep taking on an Anderson type role after he/she is older. With Ashley for my main shepard. The first 2 human SPECTREs.

My Shepard will marry Jacob on Earth. After visiting her homeworld planet Earth she will continue to explore the Galaxy. She is going to join the Alliance again and and continue to serve in the space troops.
