I don't care, I just want more. MOAR!
Cannot agree with ya more. The DLC would have to be just as good as I felt the actual full game was / is no matter how big or small the 'chunks' were.
I cannot believe I dumped ole' Zev in the end for Alistair.....I wanted to choke myself with a shoelace for not having a spine.
I voted for a continuation even though 'good' DLC will work as well.

new game please. This story was lame and I don't need to see it continued. Well a sequel that are affected by events in this game would be awesome but a new set of characters and a more engaging world, characters and storyline would be appreciated.
The end villain was lame but if you think the story was lame a new games story won't change much considering it's going to be in the same world.

Both. I'd gladly give them a go, Bioware haven't failed me in my RPG-fix, so I give back what I can.
yeah but which one would you rather see or is it 50/50 in your books?

Expansion packs take a lot more development time however, so the anxious side of me is favouring DLC at this current time. I would say in terms of numbers, 60/40 Expansion to DLC.

Memory wipe and hints towards your previous exploits are about as far as they went. Otherwise it would be like creating an direct expansion for each possible ending/race/gender selection.
Expansions? No. Additional DLC's to keep the game play going? Yes. Of course it still doesn't make sense for my character since I sacrificed myself so Alister could rule instead of that power hunger #$ore Anora.
But meh, who's to say they can't get creative and make the expansion play out within the Fade full time? EH?
For those of us who sacrificed ourselves, jump right in. Those who lived make them get poisoned or something akin to a coma and play it out in the Fade or the Black City.....

Ideally, expansion. Something that extends more to the story, other than 'here's another place that's appeared before the climax!'. It means that you really do need to wait it out in order to get the full benefits of the DLC (ie, not doing the final battle). People whom get the GOTY addition (or something to that effect, think fallout 3, which will envitably happen) will pick up a nice bundle, but those from the beginning will be a bit patchy in terms of their saves.

Actually they could continue it with DLC.

It would be fairly complicated to create a direct character expansion that wouldn't ruffle so many feathers. NWN2's Mask of the Betrayer did a reasonable job in that aspect. But since Bioware games have consequences for the choices you make, a direct character expansion is tough.
Not really they have done it before.

You should probably just stop with Dragon Age altogether if you feel like the story was lame. The writers are going to remain the same after all.

I agree with this although the end boss was in fact lame and the ending is something to be desired.

I want to see Val Royaux in all its splendor and its not what we see last in the ending index card. Some war bands of darkspawns bringing chaos elsewhere of Ferelden...
But like its been said before..5-6 years of waiting ..Ive survived this once...maybe not a second time

I'd say afew expansions now and then for DA:O and then do DA:O 2 to play all the part of Morrigan's child, assuming this part will have some future and surely didnt do that just to save a Grey Warden.

After 5-6 years I probably won't care or have any saved files anymore anyway.
