When I start up DA2 on my Mac, it asks me if i want to download and install the new patch. The download completes, the status bar changes to "Veryfing" for a second, then the game starts up and the version is still 1.00. When I start the game again, the launcher again tells me there is an update and asks if I want to download and install.

I have tried restaring the Mac, repairing hard drive permissions using Disk Utility, fixing 'Read & Write' permission on the 'Dragon Age 2.app' folder and used another internet connection to download the patch, but so far I keep getting the same result.

Any other suggestions?

Did you have a chance to first update to 1.01? i.e. I'm wondering if there is a bug and they assume you have version 1.01 installed before moving forward. Not sure how to get to the 1.01 version

Not sure what else to suggest. I wish the patch could be downloaded externally instead.

I thought I had the 1.01 patch, since I remember the auto-update asking to install, but I'm guessing I had the same problem then but just didn't notice it... And the PC versions of the patches are cumulative, I'd assume it's the same for the Mac.
