What freaking difference does it make whose fault it is that a video game isn't exactly what you wanted it to be? Would the path your life takes from this day forward be any different at all if you could somehow divine the answer to this question? I wasn't entirely satisfied with DA2, myself, but I fail to see how discussing who to "blame" for this dissatisfaction is helping anything. It won't make DA3 any better, and it certainly won't get you any closer to an answer. It's just silly, IMO. But what do I know? I'm just a drell. As you can see here. =P

Not really sure how they dropped the ball with DA2.

I've been trying to figure that out myself.  I would've liked a DA:  Origins style epilogue at the end to give me some closure about what folks were doing after I beat the game, but I still really loved it.  The complaints that I've heard have blown me away because I feel it was a fantastic game.

They don't blow me away so much as make me scratch my head.

well we will see i only give the bioware name one more chance and that will be ME3 if it leaves me felling the same way this game did then that will be the last one i buy . And I hope so much that does not happen but i fear that it will . And i guess it does show that i do not like dEAd. And they dont like me very much either, I have even been given a TOS violation from them for standing up to them and saying they are treating their paying customers like POOP. I have even had some of my posts deleated out of threads.
And i understand that they are out for proffit. Its just the things they have done in the past in the name of proffit IMHO are inexcusable. e.g thingsd like i would bet money on it that they were behind putting that npc in our camp selling DLC in DAO and they have even went so far as include spyware in one of their games. Not to mention that they seem to be just going now with a business model of just release the game, they will buy it, and beta test it for us and then we might patch it. This model seems to be catching on and i dont like it . Games used to be polished before being released . Now games get released so buggy its unecceptable to me . I have watched and been part of the game industry from the very birth of it . My first handheld was nothing but red led lights first system commador 64 i played pong for the first time when it was made.

And i have in the works something that will turrn the industry upside down and make them go uh oh

That's actually a smart reasonable thing to do, if there is a collectors edition of ME3 I will pre-order but I won't play for a week just to read the reviews that way if see I won't like it no harm done I'll just return it for a refund

all in all I think it's a great game, sure they may have rushed it a little bit, few bugs here and there and the last act is noticeably shorter than the others, this game could have been something great with another 6 months of development, heck with another year it would've shattered the record books for years, but as it is it's a good game.

EA is not to blame for this fiasco. EA may have pressured Bioware, but ultimately Bioware designed the game and made all the decisions regarding the game's content (or rather, it's lack of content and lack of depth).

Mad Max...

Your certainly a true die hard fan eh?

Read my post 2 pages back (which you seem to have conveniently missed) for the real reasons why it is EA's fault.
