Is it a smarter decision to wait until they come out with 1.03? Or just go ahead and install the latest patch?

IMO it's absolutely worth it for the fixes to Maker's Sigh, Thumbs Up, Sebastian, Revive/Regroup/Myrhal's Potion and item set bonuses.

I might be in the minority but honestly I don't really care if Zevran doesn't use the save game import data properly, etc. If you really need to have all the romance details from your DAO/Awakenings save correctly reflected in the story, you may want to wait, but I'm not sure if that will even be included in Patch 1.03.

I've not really had any issues that were anything other than an annoyance. Nothing game breaking

Patch 1.02 is fine with me so far. The patch was released two days after my first playthrough was completed which meant I could patch and go right into my second. Playing as a mage this time and the only problem I've had is having to stop to work, be a husband, father, and be an upstanding citizen.

Yes, install the patch and go for it!

Having been involved in the 1.02 patch beta testing process I can say the game is very playable with it and there is virtually no point in waiting. The outstanding issues tend to be minor annoyances rather than anything serious.

Zevran is always imported properly in my game. In one file he was dead and he wasn't in DA2. Maybe it's relevant to point out that I only have Origins. No DLC or expansion.

The problem is with imports and love interests from Origins, not with Zevran in general.  None of the correct romance dialogues are triggering for Leliana, Alistair (unless he married the Warden), and Zevran. Alistair and Zevran remain bugged even when import flags are set correctly using the import mod fix or the console, giving an odd mix of mourning, romance and non-romance lines.

My game works fine right now. Small annoyances perhaps, but nothing game breaking. If I install the 1.02 patch and it messes my game up, is there a way to uninstall it, or do I have to reinstall my whole game?

I'd honestly wait. This patch completely hosed my performance and broke all of the Dog encounters in Act 2. I'm wishing I could roll back to 1.01.

Install it...the patch fixes a lot of issues and is pretty stable. You may have to start a new play through to see all the benefits and make sure you install the latest Nvidia or ATI graphics driver.
