Hey, only recently I noticed how much better the cutscenes looked without the borders due to a bug exposing them away for a while.
So I was wondering if there was a way to get rid of them? Maybe editing a .ini file or something else simple? I don't use subtitles so I don't really care if they are harder to see without them.
If anyone could shed some light into this, I would appereciate it greatly.
Black borders during cutscenes?

Play the game with a screen resolution in 16:9 aspect and the borders wont be there.

EDIT: I appereciate the tip, but that didn't really help. I would have to play the game with much smaller resolution. It sticks me with 1300-something as the highest screen resolution if I go 16:9.

Well, there's not much else that can help that. The cut scenes are all rendered in 16:9 widescreen aspect. if you are playing on a standard 4:3 screen or on a monitor that has a 16:10 aspect, you will always get the black bars.
Any of the 16:9 aspect ratios should work: (though you may see a slightly heavy line between)1366 and 1360
1920x1080
1600x900
1366x768
1360x768
1280x720

Hmm, I guess that just means I better get a bigger screen. Thanks for the help.
quick edit: weird that I cannot run with 1600x900 then, it just turns itself to 1420x735 or something if I force the resolution in Dragonage.ini.
