I had one playthrough where everything seemed to be going fine, I had Hawke stay away from flirt options with Anders and Merrill, since they are relationship-bulldozers and will demolish any and all romances, so as to be on the safe side, no flirting here.
I figured Fenris was safe though seeing as he leaves for 3 years, but apparently not.
Alright, I figure that you can`t sleep with Fenris either, so I start a new playthrough this time having Hawke stay away from everyone BUT Isabela, question her about love and that jazz, she shows up after mama-Hawke dies, so far so good...
However, now I am in Act III and I`m very unsure if the romance is progressing along as it should or at all.
I`ve spoken to her at the Hanged Man and the conversation is identical to the friend conversation, and the codex updates with not one, but 2 paragraphs; the friend one AND a romance one (where it says she said "It was all for you" or something).
Since I don`t want it spoiled I am reluctant to seek out more specific guides, and am just wondering when you are next due a "romance"-specific conversation alternatively a conversation that differs based on your romantic status with her, something to confirm or deny that the romance is active.
Isabela, I really like you, but I am NOT starting a third playthrough just for you, not while I still have other concepts to explore.
So if someone could help me out here, it would be much appreciated.
