Why do people sometimes refer to Kaiden as "Ninja Romance". I there something I'm missing here?

Because it's very easy to initiate a romance with Kaidan/Ashley, even if you don't want to.
It sneaks up on you, you don't see it coming. Like a Ninja.

Heh, I had this on my latest ME1 playthrough, I was going for Liara- and basically not putting any signals towards Ashley- still, ended in the comm room with them wanting me to choose.

I've literally never heard anyone refer to a Kaidan LI as a "ninja romance". It seems vaguely racist to me, and I can't think of anything that would substantiate it.

Wow with the amount of threads about Ashley and now with Kaidan,bioware better start leaking info on all other romances.Otherwise Shepard won't have a Virmire Survivor to return too.

Kaiden and Kaidan are both legitimate names. Seems a bit extreme to call mistakenly spelling it the other way 'retarded'.

Because there was an error, and it got spelled both ways.


His name is sometimes spelled 'Kaiden' in external media (such as the Character Spotlight), but is always spelled 'Kaidan' in-game.

Probably for the same reason many americans think Lara Croft is Laura Croft. The pronunciation may throw people off a bit. I actually always tought of him as Russian or somewhere around ther because of his surname Alenko
