Well, we've done a better job actually removing the Mourning quest so that you'll have it fade in to a distant memory. Consoling Words should fire if they get taken to the circle/templars and from what I understand there shouldn't be one if they go Grey Warden.



So if they go Grey Warden then Merrill has nothing to say to you at the start of Act 2 whilst everyone else does? That seems a bit daft. =/

So . . . the Patch v 1.02 will still be retroactively fixing the Go-Slow Friendship glitch, yes? Such that characters affected by it will be Healed From Injury, not just No Longer Bleeding?

What's the ETA?

I'm not sure if this has been mention already but I think the Zevran and Nathaniel bugs are connected
I import a save in which I saved Amaranthine and Nathaniel and Zevran don't show up but when I take Nathaniel with me to the Mother both him and Zevran show up



I got this too! I'm in a full romance with Isabella and she goes off with Zevan to have sex. What the heck! Broke my heart!

Nathanial only shows up if you rebuilt and saved the Keep in Awakanings or took him with you to defeat the mother while saving Amaranthine earlier. He needs to have been alive one way or the other when you defeated the mother. It also seems that no matter what you did in DA:O (killed Zevran or not or any romances) if you're playing from an Awakanings saved game nothing you did in DA:O connects. Something they need to address in later patches I would hope.

It's certainly not ideal but sometimes, due to unfortunate circumstances, it's necessary.

I'm also having this issue, on a standard anoluge tv. SO i dont think it is a tv thing<_<

I too am getting the black lines on the ground (especially noticeable in the docks & lowtown) and I had a few stuttery cutscenes also. This is on an HD monitor hooked up to the 360, so I think between the three of us we've covered all screen permutations, it definitely can't be that.

sooo...merril being the only companion to say nothing bethany goes grey warden, which also means you dont get a "merril-after the deep roads" codex entry like every other companion...is intentional?

Well, I don't think intentional is the right choice for the situation, I would use necessary. Obviously we never want to have less content if we can help it but sometimes it's unavoidable.

I recently finished an entire run and can say that the Isabela thumbs up bug is definitely fixed.

But, for a short period in between when she is forcibly removed from the party during her companion quest at the end of Act 2, the Thumbs Up ability remains listed in your "Hawke" tab even when she is not in the party. This lasts until a certain point in Act 3 (can't remember, I think it fixed eventually one of the times that I went back to the Hawke estate). I'm glad I slogged through it because I was afraid that the bug wasn't completely fixed.

I haven't seen the black lines; just the rainbow goo in that one place. I'm using an old-school white 360 on a 3D LED HDTV, (but no HDMI, just standard a/v cables).

Actually, my last DA2 playthrough (finished it last night!) was an import from a half-finished Awakenings. I had not gotten to the brood mother in DAA yet when I abandoned the playthrough. I was happy to receive the Finding Nathaniel quest from his sister in Hightown in DA2. So...perhaps there is still a bug with that, or I just got really lucky...

OR, Nathaniel just has to be alive in any capacity from an import?

Oh BTW is Zevran supposed to acknowledge the romance from Origins? If so, than that isn't working properly for me either.

Hey Luke, dose it look like patch 1.02 will take the same amount of time as 1.01?
It took 5 weeks and 2 days for 1.01 to come out and its already been 3 weeks since it came out.

I might be late to the party, but is it a bug when I can't loot bodies during battles? Well, I can sometimes but more often than not I'm not able to.

Most of the time it's not a problem but sometimes you automatically leave the area without being able to loot bodies. Tranquility in Act 1 for example is one of these times. Sometimes I can loot the bodies but sometimes I can't. I guess it depends on how quickly/soon in battle I can kill the person in question. Another example would be All That Remains where I can't loot bodies during the battle and am not allowed to afterward.

First off, I need to apologise if I came off a little grumpy in that last comment.
Anyway, a guess: is the consoling words missing from the Grey Warden conclusion due to an oversight that now cannot be rectified? If so, ah well, I will simply leave my sibling with Mamma Hawke after all. Pretty frustrating but I can work around that.

Update on Supplier:

"Apparently, when buying resources from The Black Emporium, if you EVER buy anything that's in a stack (>1) it will not count properly resulting in your achievement breaking. This includes trying to buy items in a stack 1 at a time. If there is only 1 on the shop, it will work just fine. "

Luke, the above is rubbish, countless other ppl have said so and i have just completed a playthrough buying 1 resource the entire game, finding everything else and no achievement. So no, it doesnt work just fine doing what u have advised, read thru the countless pages of ppl who have found every single resource without buying any and not gotten the achievement at xbox360achievements, for example.. I've now done 4 playthroughs and never gotten this once, at least 2-3 of those i should have received it. Not happy Jan.

Right now we're looking at removing the approval rating checks in DA2. This will fix the majority of those issues.

I am concerned about how you worded this. Are you saying all cameos will have the same like of your warden? Will each cameo only have one set of dialogue because they can only have one approval rating?

Consoling Words - Fires normally (for me anyways) upon sending surviving sibling to the Templars or the Circle. When they become a Grey Warden the quest pops up as complete at the start of Act 2 and there is no dialogue whatsoever about this outcome with Merrill.

It's kind of sad that the working part of it might get cut from the game but if it's causing so many problems I guess it's for the best.

I also have Sebastian locked into my party after completing the Repentance quest in Act 2. The go home and it will remove him from being locked in fix has worked.

I asked that once somewhere and someone said something like "Everyone thinks its a bug because no Morrigan related decisions are ever mentioned in DA2." Dunno how accurate that is but I believed it because I don't see anywhere in DA2 for anyone to mention anything about Morrigan.

You're right. DA2 as it stands doesn't use any of the flags from Witch Hunt for anything, this is on purpose. The only mention of Morrigan in the game is a couple of possible lines when you first talk to Flemeth.

Not a bug, you aren't meant to be able to..

However, if u want to.. just pause the game with left trigger or whatever, and move cursor over body and u can still loot.. there are some places in the game where this is essential, so yes, you can do it with this simple tip.
