The black bars for the widescreen ocassionally fire goes through them (when Serabass sets himself on fire in act 2), and they turn gold (namely during the Meredith/Orsino/Hawke dialoge before the destruction of the Chantry in act 3) which makes reading the dialoge wheel very hard.

Has anyone else had a problem where Hawke, or any rogue, doesn't seem to sense traps until he/she's right on top of them or like the second after you accidentally step on one?

I understand it otherwise but on the Docks in Act 3, the statue of Hawke standing on the Arishok's head, it seems like it shouldn't be there if I gave him Isabella and then he just left.

I also found two Sylvanwood Rings (Merrill's Act 3 gift). One was on one of the guys who attack you upon reaching Sundermount for the first time, I was going there on the A Murder of Crows quest. The second was on another enemy somewhere later on in the same quest. Also, when giving it to Merrill, Hawke referred to it as a bracelet instead if a ring when chosing the mean option in the dialogue.

Traps often are not seen until you are in the jaws of one. The rogue doesn't speak in time. But when they do- you can only get so close to disarm it.

As for the statue, I'd love to see Meridith'd head instead. The Queen Bytch.

After maxing out Aveline's friendship/rivalry gauge (rivalry in my case) when you get her last talk to her quest, Questioning Beliefs, and she talks about being listed as dead since Ostagar she mentions something about the King reinstating people or something. But I carried over a game with Anora as Queen so there should be no King. Dunno if this is a glitch or it carried over the weird glitches from Origins and Awakening where Alistair refers to himself as King even if he isn't. And at the end of Awakening the epilogue said my character went off with him even though I let him die at the end of Origins.Well wherever the incorrect thing came from, nonetheless it's still incorrect.

When going to the Bone Pit after completing Mine Massacre to complete Anders' Justice Quest there are several plot markers on the map saying things like "Mine Massacre" and "High Dragon (Mine Massace)"

I would imagine Aveline's line about the king is just an oversight.

Im not sure if its a glitch or its supposed to do it but in Act 1 when you do the first sacrifice quest. After you go and talk to the prostitute and he has an option to sleep with him. well if you say you will come back and talk to him later. you cannot actually come back and do the option again your character automatically says maybe later. Its not that big of deal i thought i would let you bioware guys know. =D

Hi all, I looked some through this monster thread, but to no avail. When BW says 'Import issue with Zevran, Alistair and Morrigan (all)' does that mean once the patch for this is out I'll have to replay my Morrigan-mance saves through again to move forward to the next DA-thang? Or will the patch fix the already imported and played through Hawke? I hope it just fixes it......... I've played through twice and am looking forward to furthering the adventures, not replaying a character if I can so as to make sure all my saves from my Warden show correctly.

We need a huge sign telling folk not to worry about Morrigan 'imports or flags' because they don't exist. :]

 I was quoting from the 1st page. If it's not a flag thing, then what is it exactly? Thanks!

Act of Mercy? I've never heard of any problems with that quest.

Well, I don't think intentional is the right choice for the situation, I would use necessary. Obviously we never want to have less content if we can help it but sometimes it's unavoidable.

this is severely disapointing. this bug is just flat out not fixable or what?  or are you saying its not a bug and merril is not suppose to say anything if bethany goes grey warden, and the other quest, consoling words, is only supposed to fire if bethany dies or goes to the circle?

It's not a bug in the sense that it should have never been there in the first place. As for the actual reason why it isn't supposed to be in the game I can't comment on but I'll say that sometimes things get removed for whatever reason on purpose during development. Normally you just don't notice because there isn't a pesky quest update firing.

As for the Morrigan stuff, there is issues with flags moving from the DAO (+dlc) realm to DA2 but luckily there is NOTHING in DA2 that currently uses them so that aspect has no issues on your game right now so try not to worry about it :)

This is what it sounds like to me:

Mourning was supposed to be a quest for when Bethany or Carver died in the deep roads, but was taken out of the game before release for some reason.  Not a bug that it doesn't fire.

Consoling Words is a quest for when you don't take Bethany or Carver to the deep roads, and fires perfectly fine. No bugs.

What I'm still not clear on is the sibling becoming a grey warden.  Either there wasn't anything created for this situation or it's supposed trigger a grey warden themed Consoling Words.

So Luke, have you and your team at Bioware been able to figure out how to address the import bugs?

Right now we're looking at removing the approval rating checks in DA2. This will fix the majority of those issues.

I am concerned about how you worded this. Are you saying all cameos will have the same like of your warden? Will each cameo only have one set of dialogue because they can only have one approval rating?

Seconded. The wording of that statement worries me as well, and I would like a more detailed explanation as well, if possible.

Still waiting on clarification of that. It's a major thing if they decide to cut out dialogue instead of fixing the import system...

its not just the pesky quest firing when its not supposed to thing. its the fact that merril has no quest for the opening of act 2, and no codex entry "After the deep roads", if bethany(or carver?) both of which every other companion does. with or without the mourning bug, this would be quite noticeable.

im just curious if this is intentional and/or the way it just unfortunatly is?

So, how about the Leliana not acknowledging the Warden romance import issue? Or Nathanial Howe's quest not triggering?

Are those being addressed?

I'd have still noticed that Merrill is lacking an 'after sibling becomes Grey Warden' conversation. xD I spent awhile reloading til I looked at the quest page and say Mourning was auto-completing. It seems pretty... awkward. I really wanted to keep Bethany as a Grey Warden. Now I'm forced to go back and leave her at home I'm actually glad Mourning was auto-completing or I may have played further only to find that the game continued to miss out on an 'after the deep roads' scenario.

Do you think you'll be able to comment on this at any point in the future? Or have someone who can? Because I'm trying to not be put off by this.

Oh good, so the Varric Friendly Concern quest is going to get fixed in 1.02? Thanks, I was wondering about that.
