Glitch. Remove the stuff you want to keep prior to the endgame mission. Then you can put the stuff back in after you reach the epilogue.

Just wondering if there is any reason to wait for the patch before completing sketchy on the details. Will it affect future imports such as DLC or DA3? Or is it not flagged as an event for future reference and just a rewards for past imports?

I've been able to wrap my head around playing through and ignoring that the Grey Warden themed Consoling Words isn't likely to be tackled straight away and perhaps won't be. I have a new fear.

I know I'm likely an odd one. It just seems silly to have pulled this new game out of your hat(s) without fixing its predecessor, especially since there's an import function.

I have no idea who to take this up with so I'll post this here and hope someone hears me beating my head off the wall.

I think what's becoming abundantly clear here is the risk of too much parallel development. DA2 and Awakenings were being done at the same time and it looks like there just wasn't enough coordination between the two teams at all. I think in general Bioware was pushing so many DLCs no one really worked out and coordinated with each other regarding import mechanisms and such.

Okay so I don't have an Awakening save anymore, but I do still have the Witch Hunt save that I imported from Amgarrak (which I imported from Awakening). So I was wondering if, assuming the Awakening bug is ever fixed, there was any chance that if I got the patch that the fix would get passed down to the Witch Hunt save, still fix the problem, and then I could just re-import to DA2. I get the feeling it won't work that way, but was just wondering if it was even possible?

Has anyone mentioned the issues with the margins? Fire, smoke, light, and such are appearing in them.

Playing the game again, looking to get all the way through and ignore the niggles, then wait for lots of fixes!
Anyway Consoling Words related to Bethany going to the Circle fired but it seems like Merrill - After the Deep Roads codex entry hasn't. Thanks Jebus for the Dragon Age Wikia.

As a side note, I'm not sure whether Hubert is supposed to still have his shop in Hightown Market in Act 2? I figure he's probably moved on - wanted to check though.

Same here. Been able to ignore it mostly but it can be a touch off-putting.

Raiders on the coast quest seems broken. Even when I've ran round the whole area and killed everything, it won't complete. Also, the dialogue keeps firing when I talk to the guard chick.

EDIT:  My save is somehow damaged now? I saved it in the area and now none of the last three saves in the Wounded Coast will work. The other save I have is about two hours prior. I am, shall we say, less than impressed.

Edit2: Turning my xbox off and on miraculously 'healed' the broken saves.

Give Hubert time. He's always dropping in and out of Kirkwall. You'll see him again.

Act 2 Spoilers:


New bug: Just did All That Remains, killed Gascard after he joined the fight but still heard him recite some dialogue as Leandra was dying.

EDIT: but he is not in Darktown post quest.

Speaking of All That Remains. I went back and killed Gascard after that quest ended and still got his letter in Act 3.

And when I open up the radial menu and have two seperate characters each use injury kits (without leaving the menu), both of them use a kit, without receiving the benefit. (Although they disappear as if used)

No news at all. It'll be five weeks tomorrow since the first patch, which is how long it took to come out the first time.

If it hasn't hit certification, it'll be at least another week.

Yup, found that out after re-doing it. I dislike having to dance around mistakes. i.e. you don't know to go to the Viscount's Keep unless she tells you to.

How about a ME:2 Genesis-type add-on for DA2 that allows us to just tell the game the choices we made? Yes, I know there are about a million possible choices and outcomes that would need to be accounted for, especially if you include the DLC, but unless a patch is released soon, I'd be willing to do anything just to get the story going the way I intended it.

I believe this is something BioWare should look at for all future games with choices and decisions being carried over to future/fantasy sequels.

So are the approval issues the Leliana romance bug? Because I've seen PC people claiming the issues it that her flag is bugged if her approval was not +100, but I can say without a doubt (on the 360) that her approval was maxed and the flag still was incorrect.

Anyway, is that what that fix is?

I believe Leliana will not know she romanced the warden if the warden went through Awakening in DA2 1.01. But Leliana recognised her love for the warden in my game where I imported straight from Origins. I probably did have full approval though.

 Hi everyone,

Sorry if I'm posting in the wrong thread and it is a really minor problem, but I'd be grateful if someone could confirm this for me...

I know the final kiss for the Anders romance is bugged but, I have heard/seen that you can get the kiss if you rivalmanced him and sided with the Templars in the final battle. 

I'd like to know for certain if this is the only way to get the final kiss, and if it will be possible to get the final kiss if you are in a friendly romance with Anders after patch 1.02 is released?

I'd be grateful if anyone could help or at least direct me to a thread which answers my question.
