The Use Item slots will go blank if you rearrange their order in the list after setting which consumable to use.  Easiest way to set them up is to put them in the order you want, then set which consumable it will use, then back out and back in to the tactics to make sure it is still set.

It will stay correct as long as you dont change the order of the Use Item slot again, if you do, just re-select the item to use.

This is more or less what I'm doing when setting tactics (double checking). I'll test your repro steps and report back tonight (8am here ^_^).

While we're on the subject on borked abilities, Haste is broken, and has its duration reduced by your magical resistance.

All I care about with the next patch (which I've decided to hold off on playing DA2 until after reading about it) is to fix the Zevran imports, specifically the dead/alive checks. True my request is biased, but even so, most everyone would agree with me that making sure he's dead and gone in DA2 after being killed in DAO or being in DA2 if spared is of a higher priority than romance checks since its about a whole character's starting state in the world. Besides, Anyone can load up a DA2 save before talking to Nuncio for "A Murder of Crows" after patches and get to where Zevran recognizes romances, but one needs to load from Act 2 if they want their decision to kill or spare Zevran to count.

Somehow I think fixing this issue will be easier than fixing more complicated issues such as romance status.

I haven't seen this mentioned anywhere, but I believe the Act 2 Warrior armor set is bugged. I have noticed that all the armor sets are found in the same places for all classes, but are class specific. Well, I got to the part where you are confront the guy in the Hangman for the quest "Offered and Lost". Now, if you fight them you are suppose to get the sets chest piece, but instead I got the Rogue armor set piece. Now, in all the forums I searched they say you can buy it in Act 3, but I believe that is only there if you don't fight them, and take the peaceful means to get the info.

I have a question. Is the rpoblem with Isabela and Bethany's hands fixed in the patch 1.01 or this will be fixed in the next updates?

Fix the Unlockable Content Bug.

It causes Unlockable Content signals to not be sent to the game when logged in to the Gamertag associated with the account, resulting a loss of all those extras that we already bought, then had to extra stuff for. EA is trying to say it only happens to people who have had their emails different for EA and Bioware, but either way, it needs to be fixed.

- Merrill's 'Mourning' quest at the beginning of Act 2 is auto-completing. This quest is not supposed to be in the game so for now just disregard the message about it. (it does not affect your game at all)


I am still confused by this... does Merrill have an 'After the Deep Roads' conversation like all the others...?

Yep. Healing aura's range is 1 - 2 metres instead of the supposed 6m. Even then the regeneration rate is painfully slow to be of any practical use. Definitely a spell that warrants a bug report.

I was doing Sebastian's Repentance in Act 2, and he got the lock on him so he could not be removed from the party. Even after I finished the quest, did his questioning beliefs, and a few side quests, the lock stayed on. The only way I could get him out of the party was to go to the mansion. After he left at the mansion, his thumbs up ability picture stayed in my abilities screen. I am praying this didn't just ruin my game.

Two things that I know of:

* Nathaniel is considered dead even if he survived in the epilogue. Basically he's dead if you didn't save vigil's keep (unless you had him with you). Maybe I'm wrong, but I doubt that's working as intended.

* Nathaniel will always say the Architect was spared, no matter what really happened.

Maker's Sigh is improved but still not working correctly.  On a Warrior build the Critical Chance dropped to 0% instead of to 10% (for 10 dexterity).

Hi well its reporting I have 7/6 of a particular regent the 2 I am missing are 1x Glitterdust and 1xOrchalirum, however according to the guide and online guides the glitterdust is near the top of the mountain in sundermount and the other is supposed to be near in the middle of the map in the wounded coast. However I found the glitterdust and it seems like it did not register that I picked it up. The second one in the wounded coast all the caves are inaccessable.
 So I tried beating the game then going to the black emporium but there are NO resources to purchase so its bugged.

well, I will hold out on finishing my 1st playthrough till the next patch. wish I could get the expedited shipping costs I paid to have the game on launch day refunded. I usually wait 4-6 months after release to buy a new game, but DA:O was my favorite game ever so I broke my rule for once.

That's by design.  Critical Chance is Dex-10.

Maker's Sigh potion stripped points earned from the Tome of the Mortal Vessel included in the pre-order DLC. I haven't tried it with Avernus' potion or a non-DLC Tome (or the points earned in the Fade, for that matter). I can confirm that I lost 2 attribute points after using the Maker's Sigh potion on my level 7 character.

I do NOT recommend the Maker's Sigh potion for anyone's Hawke. While I admit that I can't see the whole development picture, I have to say, I'm surprised that this potion continues to be a problem.

I believe Merrill's Consoling Words still fires as normal? This is essentially the same as mourning except that you didn't bring your sibling to the DRE

Aveline got stucked in limbo in the second dragon fase in the quest "Dragon Massacre" when fighting the High Dragon. I'm not sure what was causing the issue, but she should use a restoration potion. I can't tell either if it's only in this fight or in others, aswell if it was random or not. I could not manually control her and i could not use any skills or potions. She was completely stucked, though her head and body moved after the high dragon. Her active ability at that time was focused on the restoration potion.

I use the default tactis and behavior (Tank, Defender). At that time she used; Turn the blade, Shield defense and Bravery as buffs. She also got my mage elemental weapons on and Anders Panacea. As active ability she was going to use was the restoration potion.

Gravitic Ring? (Force Mage) I've heard of this happening in rare cases with that spell.
