I can confirm that Consoling Words does not fire if Bethany becomes a Grey Warden. No idea if it's any different for Carver.

Would I be the only person to have their save file go missing, but still be on the xbox dashboard memory?

Also Ive come across a few instances where my hawke rogue is pretending to hold her daggers? looks totally rediculas in cutscenes and she walks really akwardly.

Here is one example, and Im relatively new to the forums, so please let me know if I have to remove the link as it is unsupported (and sorry if the guy is annoying, its the least annoying video of the glitch I could find)

Did someone say it doesn't affect game-play? I missed that. I'll kick them in the butt for you as I feel the same way.

someone in the thread did (too lazy to look it up) unless i misunderstood them. also the dev seems to be under the impression consoling words fires normally so the mourning issue shouldnt effect gameplay. seems to be related to me.

its a big enough issue for me, to the point wehre ive stopped playing after act 1, so my playthrough is on hold. especially since merril is the character ive decided to try the romance option with on my first playthough, which generally for me is the one that has the most value and most personal story that i tend to carry over from game to game.

so feel free to commence with kicking of butt imo~

I'm starting to wonder if there might be another way to fix the DAO to DAA acknowledging romance situation. Right now, somehow DAA knows to send you a letter from your LI. Is there anyway they can set DA2 to detect for whatever triggers that instead of relying on the approval ratings, which DAA doesn't bring in? That would seem to solve some of the problems.

There must be some optimization issues with the 360 patch because multiple people have been having stuttering/freezing/lagging issues in DA2 after installing patch 1.01. So far I've seen SirPounceAlot, TAJ4Life, myself, one other person(can't remember name), and you mention the issue.

Dude calm down. My early comment was just friendly ribbing. I realize that everybody finds different bugs. Like I know the warrior set 2 chest piece is bugged, but everyone keeps acting like having the rouge armor drop in it's place is not a bug.

He's suggesting there's an inaccessible reagent in Act 3. Since reagents appear in the Black Emporium the act after you miss them, this might mean the the achievement is unattainable as it's impossible to purchase the missing one from the Black Emporium.

Well I can definitely say for a fact that 'unattainable' is not the right word. Unfortunately due to the complexity of this particular issue all I can do is give suggestions. It always works when we try it in-house and many users have said they got it successfully (as does our telemetry) - given all of this my options are a very specific way to break the tracking of the achievement or user error. Either way, we'll look in to it.

I had two items left to get, glitterdust in the Black Emporium and that red flower (forgot the name) on the Waking coast in the 3rd act. I did everything... buying the item first, then grabbing the flower and vice versa, completing a couple missions before grabbing the last item.. and it never unlocked. And I had all 66 items. It's the last achievement I need to get and it's bugged for me.

Do you have an update for us Bioware? I would like to know if the import bugs look like they will be fixed for the next patch.

When is the auto attack be put in the game?
I haven't played it for a while now because of all the bugs. Once the major ones are fixed I'll start getting back into the game.

It is already in the game. It was part of the recent patch that fixed some of the major bugs.

I am happy to report that I got Aveline's Deflecting Joints armour upgrade from Jeven's loot after the Favour and Fault battle. So the patch did change something. I didn't get it on my original character's playthrough.

Under Options/Gameplay. You activate it. It took getting used to. I still mash buttons even though I have it on because I'm not used to it yet.

Also, I know this gets chalked up to an "out of memory issue" but I turned off the machine and reloaded a save and Cullen still appears as a disembodied head during the final battle. It's funny and sad at the same time..

Why is Merrill's quest "mourning" no longer triggering? I mean, that quest worked. It just appeared at the wrong time... Now it doesn't appear at all.

Add that to the stuttering / frame rate problems mentioned by others, import problems, quest "sketchy on the details" fails to clear in act two, save game time is off, and a few other odd AI quirks.

I did run into a few bugs in the All That Remains quest, post patch.

I let Gascard go when I encountered him in his mansion. When Leandra disappeared I first went to Lowtown to talk to Gamlen. I walked fairly close to him and overheard part of his argument with the urchin - but I didn't converse with them.  I remembered that I could talk to Gascard, so I left Lowtown and found Gascard in Darktown. I let him perform his blood magic ritual and went with him to confront Quentin. I couldn't convince Gascard to help me, so I killed him along with Quentin. When Leandra is dying in Hawke's arms, an invisible Gascard (a ghost?!?!) delivers a line. Hawke turns to look at phantom Gascard. After that things resolve normally.

The next time I went to Lowtown at night, Gamlen was still there talking with the Urchin with the quest maker over his head! Talking to them even updated the All That Remains quest, but a second later the quest resolves again.

Don't know if this was ever mentioned anywhere on the forums but how come Bodhan always greets Hawke and mentions any messages or whatnot while Hawke is walking past him on the way OUT of the mansion instead of on the way in? I suggest this this be fixed.

Also, you said that currently Isabella's second outfit required the maker's sigh potion to work, please continue to fix it so it appears after the romance as it should.

And on the first page you indicate "Import issues with... Morrigan." Which Morrigan issues were these? I carried over a very Morrigan friendly game so I am curious about this.

At the end of "Blackpowder Courtesy" when the Arishok sits back down after yelling  it keeps looping a few times, him sitting down I mean.

If you haven't already fixed the Maker's Sigh potion glitch where it gets rid of any points from tomes instead if giving them back to you, please do so.

My biggest wish for the next patch is a hopeful font increase (or something) for the text. I still can not clearly read anything past 3 or 4 feet from the television screen, and I have to squint to read anything up to 10 feet away.

And thank you very much for making the auto attack an option as I was not one who was interested in it. And I am happy to finally have seen Isabella's "Questioning Beliefs" quest as I was one of the ones who always got it to pop up after she left in Act 2 so I've never, ever seen her come back, now I can, yay!

I noticed that problem before the first patch came out. Hopefully they will fix that.

Since no one replied to my topic, I'll add it here:

Since the patch, my mage's sustained spells & spells that affect the party which were cast by other mages, randomly deactivate during battles. The Mabari Dog deactivates too (even when he has not been "killed"). It should be noted that this only seems to affect Hawke and none of my party members. I never had this problem before the patch.

Alright, well I'll report an actual problem now. While the graphical errors have more or less faded, I have noticed that the "cutscene bars" (The black bars we get in cutscenes) occasionally are affected by the closest graphic assets.

Example 1: When talking to Aveling and Wesley for the first time, the smoke in the horizon will bleed onto the top black bar.

Example 2: When talking to Varric about the deep roads entrance, his fireplace's flames will show through the bottom black bar.

Having the same problem. Have an HDTV purchased within the past six months. Anders/Meredith eyes are in the right spots now, but it seems like if there is any flame in a cut scene, I am having flames behind (i.e.above and below the frame itself). Not game breaking...but weird.

Also my dog is doing...I don't know what. He won't move sometimes at all, and often he just disappears. This was really noticeable in Act 1, and I've just begun Act 2 and it seems like it might have resolved? Not sure yet.
