By the same reasoning you can't expect me to take you seriously if you say that Miranda (ME2) is beautiful.

I have no idea how you got there. I'm beggining to think this is a case of chest envy. Either that, or you're one of those guys who watches a beauty contest and separates the contenders into groups of beautiful, pretty and ugly.

Tastes differ. Not everyone finds big boobs attractive, and even if you do, a woman consists of more than boobs and ass (even though I know some men to whom this is a new concept:devil:).

Men who only see women as boobs and ass are stupid. There's also hair, lips, waistline, legs, and er... ....cats.

Indeed. Nevertheless, there are stupid men on this world.

All men are stupid, at least in that sense. Some of us just pretend that we are not.

Well, if there are women who have not yet realized this, I am quite sure that they won't notice it even now.

Well. You said I cannot expect to be taken seriously if I say that something that the you find beautiful is in fact, to my tastes ugly.
The same thing should apply in reverse. Or am I wrong?

And really, chest? Did you fail to notice that I purposely wrote I was talking about FACES?

Since it's subjective yes... ? If we were discussing about colors I surely couldn't say that a grey cube is black.
But we are talkning about personal tastes in women faces.

In Italy we have a saying, I'll try translating it, don't know if it will make much sense: "It isn't beautiful what is beautiful, but It's beautiful what is liked."

If I'm right in english this is used "Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder"

First of all, "chest envy" is just an expression. Look it up if you want. Second, you didn't understand where I was coming from. Think of it like this: why do you think there are beauty contests in the world? Beauty queens? Makeup? Plastic surgery? Because certain facial features constitute attractiveness, like the straight nose, or full lips. Just like a disproportionately large chin or a unibrow, for example, would be considered brands of ugliness. Isabela combines many of the former with none of the latter which makes her attractive to the opposite sex.

If you don't like brunettes, dark skin, dusky eyes, piercings or non-anorexic women then that's your personal preference, and I wouldn't presume to argue about that. If there was no such thing as objective beauty then we wouldn't have models promoting products aimed at a mass audience.

Ah sorry, didn't know.

Other than that. Am I really the only one who thinks that her jaw is caricatural?
She, like many other in the game makes me think to this character of family guy
Image IPB

It seems to be a trade mark for most human female faces in DA2, mostly like the frakking ugly chin of female elves in DA:O.

Sorry to destroy your arguments but (the occasional exception to prove the rule nonwithstanding) I don´t find most models or contestants in a Miss show attractive. Too much photoshop for my taste.

I don't think men who see only boobs and ass are stupid at all. What I do think is when they hit 50 they better either be very rich or be very lonely. Stupidty, though, will help ease this state a bit. :) Time changes the definition of beauty but throughout the ages, the idiots of the world consistently find themselves alone and wallowing in some fermented beverage somewhere. :)

The person who modelled much of DA2 like strong jaws/chins. Some people do! I grew to appreciate some of the models I originally disliked because it made the characters unique, and I liked the character enough I began to look beyond just the appearance. That said, I would change Zevran in a heartbeat. To be closer to what i remember him as though, instead of it being solely about perfection (which changes by the era and what is fashionable during that era in the real world)

Like what you like I say, but understand it is solely preference, not some ultimate idea of beauty that you got right and everyone else got wrong. ;)
