Is a link to the instructions on how to do it.

This is all "old news" but I guess a lot of newer Me2 players do not know where do find this info.

I did this once AGES ago. I'm replaying ME2 because I have never played some of the newer DLCs since the original release.

Keep in mind if you FORCE the game to do this you will have

romance scene with no voice overs or partial voice overs as the VOs were never meant for this, but you CAN turn on subtitles. This will at least let you "see" what's being spoken

There are a few other glitches, but the above link explains this.

I'm only posting this because, recently, I've gotten numerous PMs on how to do it. And no this isn't a debate on if it should be done, if the game was made for it yadda, yadda.

No idea.  I'd guess no they will not but we'll find out in a month.

The romance sort of will carry over, but you'll still need to use Gibbed to set a few flags.

IE: My Femshep/Ashley romance was intact during dialogues leading up to the Cerberus base attack, but I got no final romance scene until I used Gibbed to "confirm" the romance.

BTW: I went about it by rolling Male Shep, then switching Gender.  Might be different if you approach it differently.
