By you, I mean you as in the one reading this thread, not Hawke.  So here's the situation:

Somehow, you've wound up in Kirkwall, and all of your companions know/trust/love/hate you like you're Hawke.  You can say/do absolutely anything with them - it's as if you exist in a living, breathing city, not just the one we are limited to seeing in the game.  For a pleasant change, it's not one of the days where everybody  wants you to help them - you can quest if you wish, but you don't have to.  You've got unlimited cash, but you can't bring anything back with you.  Here's the catch: you only have one day here, so how do you spend it?

Personally, I'd love to take a walk around town and see the sights with everyone, and introduce Fenris and Anders to the pot and kettle metaphor.  Then I'd love to buy everyone a round of low quality crappy drinks and mystery meat stew at the Hanged Man.  Get Varric plenty drunk and hear some stories.  Of course, I'd have to find a way to romance Isabela throughout the day, so I can have a "happy ending."  Wow... I can't believe I said that.  Eh, when in Rome, right?

I think I'd do a lot of talking. Isabela and I would flirt with razor-sharp wit-knives... I'd tell Merrill she's gorgeous and make lewd comments about her breasts and behind to see how she'd react... I'd tell Fenris and Anders what complete idiots they are... and I'd bull**** with Varric.

If I had to spend a day in Kirkwall, I'd hope I'm as skilled and armed-to-the-teeth as Hawke. Otherwise that day would be spent running and hiding.

Would also ogle Cullen.

I'd like to think I would at least try... but then I would most likely fail.

I could never do that.  She reminds me waaaaay too much of a little sister... much more so than Bethany even.  Merrill just has that personality that I physically could not hit on.

Everyone's crazy about Cullen!  Am I the only one who found him outrageously pompous until the end?  Don't get me wrong, he was a good character, just not one I'd have seen women going wild over.

Perhaps we like a little pompous in our men   I bring my Cullen love with me from Origins - for me it has a lot to do with his VA...Greg Ellis could read me the phone book and I'd listen to every word.

Added - I didn't realise how much the VA affected my feelings about a character until I went back to play Awakenings..."Oh, I see, now I know why I liked Anders so much."

Isabela and I would moon the statue of Andraste and see if we get smitten by lightning, then run off to harass, annoy and generally corrupt our fellow party members. Izzy still has to teach Merrill about those body-shots afterall.

Odds are, by the end of the day, the Hanged Man would be in shambles.

We certainly agree on that.  VAs can definitely make or break the character.  Such is the case with my companion-love for Leliana and, to a much lesser degree, Fenris. 

As for the Cullen comment... I'm not sure I could be as pompous as him, but I could probably dye my hair blonde, get it crazy curly and storm about in armour.  Would that suffice?

I'm surprised no one else has said this - I'd go first to the Black Emporium, and use the magical mirror to alter the way I looked (just taller, thiner, fitter - no need to alter anything else). THEN I'd seek out the companions, and spend the rest of the day working up the courage to flirt with Isabela.

I'd spend some time with Aveline, Bethany, Varric, and Merrill too.
