I am usually the type of person that just sits back and says nothing. I understand that games are different and are they go under different direction when others take over the production, but I am just soooo sadly disappointed with this one... Dragon Age: Origins to me was completely perfect.... It takes a lot for a game to impress me, but this one kept me coming back for more and more. I loved every aspect. It was done just right and used a lot of old school elements that made games like Baldur's Gate so amazing. Though with the mainstream elements in the second one....I just HATE it. I cannot stop thinking about how annoying it is that they tried to fix all these things that were perfectly FINE in the first place! The inventory system, the skill system....all of it was perfectly fine. With DA2 all I wanted them to do was add more....just add more skills....add more content and a new story! If they would have just done that I believe not only would it have sold better, but it would have been down right easier for them to do! I'm just so disheartened... I felt like I finally found my one PERFECT series that I would play and play and play.. I just hope to god that they will see the disappointment in fans like me and stick to the original formula in DA3...maybe even stick to it a bit more in the DLC. I'm so sick of this mainstream BS...I'm sorry Bioware but you made the perfect game and then decided to experiment?!?!

I know a lot of people may completely disagree with me and like I said...usually I say nothing...usually I keep my opinion quite silent but this is the one time that I really feel like I had to say something....I guess I hope that when DA3 is on the table they will think and consider posts like this and maybe rethink the decisions made..

This is how I feel  ithought Dragon Age was going to be something that I followed for a long time I loved the universe the combat, the characters everything but then DA 2 comes out and the ruin it makes me wish I could go back in time and some how change it.

I cant disagree with you, but it would be nice if you could be more specific...what changes bothered you the most? voiced PC? Fastest combat? or is it about the choices or storyline? Sounds like you wanted a new expansion for Origins. Is there *1* new thing you liked about DA2?

I cant think of one thing that's "new" and an improvement. I guess I don't like things simplified and dumb down. My heart goes out to the guys that pre-ordered this game thinking it was to be an rpg, biased on how bioware has always sold themselves as.

Bioware RIP

I got very into the l lore and story of the first one, and it just feels like they completely forgot about all of that... Though I could live with those things if they would have kept other things atleast....such as the inventory/skills. They dumbed it all down...its so easy now. You can't even customize your party like normal...its just plain stupid. They had a perfectly working system and for some reason they decided to 'fix' it. After playing origins, it feels as if they got a bunch of children complaining about the complexity/difficulty and so they made everything accessible to any second grader.. The game is rated M and should have a certain level of intellect involved. They strayed WAY to far from the roots of the game and ended up screwing it totally. I know I'm not alone when I say all of this.. Origins was literally in the top 3 BEST rpg's I've ever played.. Along side the elder scrolls and everything...just makes me so angry. We waited and waited for more because we loved it. We loved the world, the lore, the story....everything about it and then we pay money and get this watered down version?..
