I don't think anyone could reasonably say that Dragon Age is an incomplete game without the DLC. I suppose you could argue that it would be incomplete without Shale since Shale was originally supposed to be there but they gave that to us free...

Amen.  If I can't buy it right now, it really isn't that cool.  We already waited long enough for the actual game to come out, teases like this with vague release dates aren't helping anything.

Sweet, new DLC when a patch is needed. How about instead of making more money off us you fix what we got first. Not like a ton of stuff needs fixing, just a few things

I think this will tie in nicely if done just before the landsmeet.. make you feel more connected to the grey wardens story again.. and get you pumped for killing more ds and archD.

Not really.  If you take out all of the voice-acting and extremely long dialogues there is probably about 30 hours of actual gameplay that doesn't involve you sitting there waiting for some NPC to shut up.  I can name RPGs from the original Playstation with more content, and the whole 80+ or 100+ hours is nothing new for RPGs.  For as long as this game was in development you would expect it to have 200+ hours of gameplay.

I'm kinda glad for this, I always wanted to return to ostagar... I just want more answers to exactly what happened. I kinda feel like things weren't what they seemed...(trying to avoid spoilers)

Yeah, it's pretty sad I'm more excited about having new companions (or giving us certain NPCs as companions) than new story stuff. We'll see how it goes, though.

No if you read back in the thread I didn't expect anything at all and though everyone was getting way too worked up over it.  Not to mention that one line was twittered, facebooked and put on this site and eft entirely vague jst t get peopel all in a tizzy about.....paying more money to hit some things.   Some details on the paylength wuld be nice, I'm willing to bet it is about an hour long.
