These do matter:
made Easy difficulty easier
slightly increased attack, defense, and damage scores for all party members at Normal difficulty

Everything else doesn't matter for consoles.  So you're really not missing much of anything anyway.  The DEX hotfix and the like aren't actually in the patches yet.  Since Microsoft limits how often BioWare can patch and how many times they can patch, you should be glad that they're waiting for a biggger patch.

There has been other cases of minor bugs that weren't fixed with the release of the game.
Off the top of my head, DEX hotfix and healing % bonus
These are no more than minor perks, but as a gamer who thoroughly enjoys this epic game, I can't feel but feel slightly disappointed at these flaws.

And no, I did not know Microsoft or Sony limited number of patches.
This is my first RPG on PS3, so I'm not too knowledgeable in this area

The best news would be "We broke away and found a new publisher" though...

EA's not so deserved of bad rep as of the moment I know they are hated by so many... but, as of late they have been going in the right direction. Hell, the fact that they WANTED to buy bioware should speak volumes as to the direction their new management is taking them.

I know they aren't out of the woods yet, but who do you prefer to them? Ubisoft?

Ya hopefully whatever it is it affects us console users as well, considering there are probably more copies of DA being played on consoles out there versus PC, its probable.

It is their own fault if they build gigantic expectations of gigantic expansion packs or the like.

I will go ahead, and offically call the announcement... my drunken insight tells me, it will be a new patch, PLUS DLC, which will be offered free, and will be epic.
