I think a lot of people just think it's cool to side with the hardcore Cerberus, whilst also not having a total understanding of the term "treason".

Mind expanding on that, Saphra?
In Retribution Anderson betrayed the Systems Alliance, humanity, and the galaxy, by going after Cerberus.

I don't care whether cerberus is terrorist or not, they can wait to be punished after the mess with the reapers is taken care of.
Anderson committed treason not because he is against cerberus, but because he violated a treaty that could cause potential war. A war where the Alliances colonies would be the front lines.

Luckily for shep he had a stealth ship. Not a compliment of Turian soldiers waging war against a few space stations.

Wonder if you need a sticker on your forehead Nash ^^. To sum it up foryou, again
a) Cerberus is done dealing with the Collectors in Retribution. Whatever motivation Cerberus have to fight the Reapers is shady at best. But creating a reaper avatar isnt realy speaking for them. And, even without the Turian interference, Greyson would break out. To think anything else is stupid. The only motivation for Cerberus to deal with collectors (and Reapers) is the tech
c) the Alliance cant realy help remote human colonies in the Terminus as they are not allowed there and could start a war
d) Cerberus uses this for own good, propaganda, in the long run, Cerberus do more bad then any good "suposedly" fighting reapers (I dont belieave even one second this Cerberus morons are realy willing to fight the reapers)
e) and finaly, you realy think Anderons actions could start a war? In the first novel Saren took out a complete Batarian factory on a Batarian world in Terminus and Council approved, Anderson was there on behalf of the Alliance, no war sofar. Go figure.
Abraham Lincoln did not have hundreds of immortal machines trying to destroy all life. Anderson on the other hand did, and still tryed to destroy the one group who was actually doing anything about the Reapers.Nathan Redgrave wrote...

That's like saying Abraham Lincoln betrayed the ideals of life, liberty, and equality by opposing slavery.
