Potentially causing a war with the terminous systems by breaking a treaty he had no authority to break. sounds like treason to me.

Not to meantion how a war with the terminous systems right before a reaper invasion is CLEARLY the smart thing to do. Clearly.

Sorry but Bioware said he is a place holder. Kinda like that random guy in the MW2 cut scene and then he was replaced with ghost and so everyone that the random guy was what ghost really looked like. Sorry he is just a place holder. This was stated in GI, highly doubt the old man wants to fight. Right now he is more interested retiring the last time i checked with him on the citedal.

In Retribution Anderson betrayed the Systems Alliance, humanity, and the galaxy, by going after Cerberus.

That's like saying Abraham Lincoln betrayed the ideals of life, liberty, and equality by opposing slavery.

'treason' against terrorist organizations is the only way to score significant victories against terrorism. Moderates who report Radicals around the world are seen as 'traitors' by their countrymen. But I'm not saying anything we all didn't already know. If you would like to argue that cerberus is not a terrorist organization, then that's a different debate, but so far on this thread I haven't read any comments from Anderson-bashers that dispute cerberus' terrorist status.

I don't care whether cerberus is terrorist or not, they can wait to be punished after the mess with the reapers is taken care of.

Anderson committed treason not because he is against cerberus, but because he violated a treaty that could cause potential war. A war where the Alliances colonies would be the front lines.

But isn't that why the Normandy was grounded in ME1, so that Shep wouldn't cause a potential war?

Luckily for shep he had a stealth ship. Not a compliment of Turian soldiers waging war against a few space stations.

OK point well taken. Then I'll go out on limb and say that Udina's "Send your fleet in!" was a treasonous statement.

I would prefer Leng over Anderson. But it seems based on GI that BioWare is not allowing us to make a choice between Cerberus or the Alliance. Seems like we're being stuck with the group that broke up the original Normandy crew because of the aliens on the ship, but yet they're the non racists.

Plus Leng would finally give an option for a female LI that isn't Liara.

Udina is an incompetent and apparently I'll informed slimy politician. Which is exactly why I expected more out of Anderson.

Wonder if you need a sticker on your forehead Nash ^^. To sum it up foryou, again
a) Cerberus is done dealing with the Collectors in Retribution. Whatever motivation Cerberus have to fight the Reapers is shady at best. But creating a reaper avatar isnt realy speaking for them. And, even without the Turian interference, Greyson would break out. To think anything else is stupid.
B) The only motivation for Cerberus to deal with collectors (and Reapers) is the tech
c) the Alliance cant realy help remote human colonies in the Terminus as they are not allowed there and could start a war
d) Cerberus uses this for own good, propaganda, in the long run, Cerberus do more bad then any good "suposedly" fighting reapers (I dont belieave even one second this Cerberus morons are realy willing to fight the reapers)
e) and finaly, you realy think Anderons actions could start a war? In the first novel Saren took out a complete Batarian factory on a Batarian world in Terminus and Council approved, Anderson was there on behalf of the Alliance, no war sofar. Go figure.

a)  How about the Reapers kill all advanced organic life and TIm was studying the effects of indoctrination not trying to create a Reaper avatar.  Grayson breaking out regardless is incorrect.  Kai Leng could've executed him or TIM could've gassed the room.

B) How about the Reapers are uber-powerful and kill all organic life

c) Yes they can they sent Ash/Kaidan to install defense towers on Horizon

d)Elaborate  or is it you just don't like Cerberus.  Because besides Shepard they have done more than any other organization to thwart the Reapers

e) Well if you let the COuncil die the aliens resent humans and the Alliance and Turians are in a cold war. So Anderson's actions could easily ignite a war.
The official sttory on Camala was official COuncil business.  The Batarians even loaned an APC to the Alliance by the COuncil's request

Abraham Lincoln did not have hundreds of immortal machines trying to destroy all life. Anderson on the other hand did, and still tryed to destroy the one group who was actually doing anything about the Reapers.

That's a pretty effin' huge mistake. The kind that has long lasting repercussions.

EDIT:

Incidentally, Lincoln violated the rights of the citizenry many times.

why is that . I mean its clear you pathetic anti Cerberus fans have won out and ME 3 will have Cerberus coming after Shepard even if he or she sided with them in ME 2.  that is the only thing truly annoying but hey I guess thats what a year of whining and moaning does

Thats a good idea because I want revenge against the Alliance. Bioware made a mistake in giving us Cerberus fans a big F U in ME 3. so in respone I plan on taking out their golden boys the Alliance.
