Today, just after installing the patch, I noticed a very significant decrease in Hawke's attack speed when I went into combat. This is the first time I have experienced it since I never used Isabela. Curious, I reloaded a save about an hour previously and it was back to normal. This was in the middle of an Act 3 quest, and I proceeded to make up the lost time by completing it, going back to town, and did some minor re-equipping with new items. Then I was back to the same spot, fighting random people in night Hightown. I then used a stopwatch to record the time to complete two combos on the three different saves:

Right after patch: ~10 seconds
1 hour ago save: 7.96 seconds
After making up time: 8.63 seconds

This disturbed me a little, seeing as I have no way of explaining how Hawke is gradually losing attack speed. I did each of these measurements several times, and there was little to no variation within a trial. Does anyone have any ideas? I did only a small number of tasks and somehow lost like 10% attack speed. The initial 10 second one was VERY noticeably slowed.

Transfer your save file to PC and load it up using FirstBlight to check your attack speed value. If it's negative, bring it to Bioware's attention.
