Screw Dragon Age 2 DLC. I'm waiting on Fallout: New Vegas DLC.

This.  Wouldn't touch anything with the Dragon Age name on it with a ten foot pole.  Really interested in the FO:NV DLC, and although I *loathed* the first Witcher, I suddenly feel like I have to support CD Projekt's ethos by getting the Witcher 2.  In the meantime, I'm playing the Sims Medieval and FO3 yet again.  Ah well.

Destructoid said that a single village in The Witcher 2 had more personality than Kirkwall altogether, go for it.
Also new FO:NV DLC screens are here. Erm... Try zoom in on two of them.

DA2.

Seriously, I have it minimized right now. Needed to make a visit to the privy, felt like popping in here for a giggle at the forum life. This place is as entertaining as the WotC D&D forums when they released the Essentials products. Dorks/geeks (and I mean that in the most complimentary of terms, being one) + the Internet at it's "finest" = entertainment.

I'm having a hard time making up my mind. I've got so many games right now that I've played before but never finished that it's hard to pick one to stick with and actually finish. Because of that, I've been switching between Darksiders, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II and now I'm thinking about playing STALKER: Call of Pripyat with the Complete mod with the hopes that it fixes a game-breaking bug that I encountered when I tried playing through the vanilla version.

I think my indecision is telling me that I need to take a break from PC gaming for a while. :-P

I'm not sure I've ever waited for a DLC before, what is that experience like?

Playing The Witcher in anticipation of The Witcher 2. Might or might not get DA2 DLC when it arrives - depends on what it is. Definately won't be buying immediately like I did the game.

1: Fallout New Vegas (again)
2: Mass Effect 1 (because bioware gave out charity passes and I now have a free sequel)
3: I may play DA2 again due to missing an entire companion

Not waiting, nor wanting any DLC that is part of DA2, I was just too disappointed to even consider it, even if it is a well made expansion. I am doing another play through of 'Amnesia; The Dark Descent', probably the best indy survival horror game I have ever played. I also cannot put down Torchlight, though it is nothing more than a Diablo 2 clone, it's addicting.

I thought of playing the BGs again, mostly from nostalgic connection to Origins, but I cannot get myself to ever play it again (looking at the game case as I type), since I did every possible expansion, mod, etc for over 3 years just on BG2.

Not waiting. And not buying anything associated with 'DA2'. Screw the DLC's and work on a proper dragon age game.

Right now playing The Witcher 1 (waiting for TW2) and Divinity II: Dark Knight Saga, (and the odd time slip in some Planescape: Torment)

TW2 didn't have any personality. It had a horrible story and horrible characters. Everything about the game was bland.

You mean Total War 2 I take it, as The Witcher 2 isn't out yet ;)

I believe he's talking about Two Worlds 2.

There's no such thing as Total War 2. Any sequels or numbers are attributed to the epoch/era of the game, not the series. ie Shogun Total War and Shogun 2 Total War. Besides, Total War games are a mix of turn based strategy and real time tactics. It doesn't have a story in the RPG sense.

:P

But you can make one up as you play through a campaign. If you limit characters to the General Units, there's quiite a bit of roleplay possible. Though it's mostly in your head and not reflected in the game.

Some of the AARs people make on Total War campaigns are quite the read.

I've played AC:B on PC and that's a hell of a game. Well, if you want to finish a game on a cliffhanger, that's the way to do it (every reference to DA2's epilogue is intentional). I'm still shocked... I do not see it coming. Now, I think that I will take a look at all the games I've stored during christmass sales on Steam and the PS3.

haha! I just looked over at my 360 and saw Bayonetta sitting there and thought, nah, I already have played 20 runs of that game. I still love it though, best action game I have ever played.
