Pancea and Healing Aura bugged as of 1.02?

Now they can be used at any time, despite their descriptions saying otherwise.
Maybe my game is just bugged, I do have a few mods installed.

Only if you're doing it wrong. Anders is pretty strong even without exploiting the system. Using Blood of My Enemy allows you to self heal without deactivating Vengeance.aethernox wrote...
I would kind of be bummed out, honestly. It would be a huge Anders nerf. I think that Vengeance needs to be re-worked a bit. -50% damage resistance could be fair, immune to conventional healing could almost be fair, but both of them at once makes Vengeance really, really bad in my opinion. Panacea... isn't very good, either.

Anders is only pretty strong without exploiting the system due to his spell selection and the lack of other competent mages. His specialization, as written, is actually quite weak, due to the conflicting nature of the trees and the horrid drawbacks of each sustain.

I have confirmed in my Patch 1.02 playthrough (Nightmare) it is not possible for Anders to cast group heal or revive unless Panacea is active.

Did you try to cast them manually, or did you allow for an ally to die while Ander's panacea was inactive and his tactics were set to Ally: Dead > Regroup?
You've never been able to cast them manually, but the tactics worked as of 1.01. Mind clarifying/doing a bit more testing? I'm actually more interested in whether or not this also fixed Martyr, but one fix would imply the other.

The only tactics I have ever used in DA2 is to activate a few sustained modes like Mabari Warhound and Lyrium Ghost.
For Anders, I have never used any tactics in the game so far, so everything is manual.
I will try testisng the tactics, however.

If you use tactics to have Ander casts regroup upon party member death, he does it without first activating Panacea.
