Thanks for the reply Rob. Great article too!
How do you find Pro Tools on PC? I prefer it on Mac myself but I also run it on PC as well just because certain programs aren't available for Mac. I haven't used Soundforge before but I'm thinking about trying it out. Ableton is pretty nice, especially when working with samples
Why PC if I can ask? Is it just because everything was already set up that way or is it one of those "well, why not" things?
I'm trying to teach myself Wwise right now. I keep getting caught up in the Quake-esque game that came with it though, it's like a trip down 90's Shooter memory lane.
Something cool in the article you mentioned was where Real was discussing how sounds were mapped to the mod wheels of a keyboard. What do you guys use for MIDI controllers in the studio? I have an Axiom 61 that does the job sweetly but I'm always keeping an eye out for better or just different alternatives.
I gotta say that I'm a little jealous of you and the rest of the audio team, getting to work in a surround sound studio. i mean my apartment is awesome (great flutter echo) for mixing with my Fostex MKII's but damn, I miss the studios I had access to in school.
Keep the ears golden.

Am I the only one interested in Legion saying one of his functions is to monitor Cerberus personnel files?

Maybe that's what becomes of Legion if you turn him over to Cerberus, perhaps they activate him?

That was very interesting. Legions voice was music to my ears. I hope we see (and/or hear) a lot more of him in ME3.

^That'd be an intersting twist, especially if Cerberus made copies...

Its even better that the voice actor of Albert Wesker is the voice actor of Legion

Found both the "Sound Creating" Vids interesting. For me a good sound blends into the background (sadly) and a bad sound "stands" out (aka noticing oddities etc.) and therefore usually an area for me that I don't delve much into it.
So it is therefore always interesting to get a glimpse into an area such as this ... very nice

You sort of hit the nail on the head when it comes to being a sound guy. You're greatest work will go by unnoticed while your most minor error will get the most attention.

Legion's voice is perfect, I never get tired of talking to him. Hopefully he has a big role in ME 3.
