So, when I finally spoke to Hackett face-to-face, I was blown away with how detailed his face was. I went back and took a look at some of the other NPC's and there really aren't any that approach the level of detail on Hackett's face. Is this a sign of things to come in ME3, or just an anomaly?

Likely a sign of things to come. I've been hearing from those who've read the Game Informer mag that the graphics in ME3 are stunning, so I can only imagine this as an ME2 step up towards that level.

Hackett's face was awesome. But Kenson's face was so slapped together and horrible looking.

I thought she looked like she just had her wisdom teeth taken out.

I always wanted to keep the facial scarring on ME2 femshep no matter what. I hope that more pronounced facial scarring is an option.

Heh, yes...maybe if we whine enough Bioware will release "Mutilation DLC"...

Honestly, though, on some playthroughsI would cheat and max out the renegade playthroughs even if I was playing Paragon, just so I could walk around with those sweet scars.

As I understand, Project Lazarus probably had to completely regrow Shep's skin, so no more scars.

Was I the only one waiting for a snarky conversation option of "Sure thing, Admiral Massani."?

Hackett would tell you he got it in a bar fight. But we all know his kitten scratched him!

I always thought he'd end up looking more like Lance Henrikson.

I have a feeling they took his face model from the one they are using for ME3.

Just a thought

It's possible, but I doubt it somehow.

Anyway, I thought the same as the OP. The funny thing is, Amanda's face looked broken graphically -- at least compared to Hackett's.
