Looks like a reskin of the Juggernaught Armour; as I said in another thread, there better be more to this than just a new set of Armour. I'm sure hope David has put together some juicy lore for us...

[/quote]

That is a gold version of the chevalier armor aka orlesian style. Juggernaught uses the tevinter styling according to winter forge mod. Effort armor uses the grey warden style.

I just finished the game for the first time and I hope I'll be able to do the Return to Ostagar quest even if my last save is at the very end of the Blight at the Post-Coronation.

I hoped that we could continue our unfinished quests after that, but it seems like we can't go and play freely after the Blight. I mean, I have almost done every single quest of the game, but when I got near the end there were still quests that would require much travelling so I just didn't finish them.

Do you think we will be able to go search for Morrigan in an Add-On ?

Likely not... they will save that for a sequel or huge add-on if for nothing else the fact that the demand for one featuring her will insure them that it will sell

not to forget still got 1 tevinter dragon god left at end game that could be sequel but i see them throwing the baby tevinter god in sometime

oh almost forgot.... when the hell is the release :( i want me my dragon age dlc
holiday season.... already the 21st what you waiting for christmas that would be a let down

I agree, to be honest i knew this game would be great, after all its bioware, but the addiction level is massive on this, and i might be frothing at the mouth for more DLC. I would really not like to wait until christmas, tonight would be great ;)

i hope it adds something more then just a silly plate armor, like we dont have enough of em, i am getting very tierd of not having a good medium and leather armor for my chars. The Wade armors is far far from what the plate armors give you, so atm i am running about with my archer and assasin in noble dresses hehe.

And yes, i want to see the DLC soon! :)

Well, it's Christmas and we still can't get the "Return to Ostagar." What's the deal?

Must be PS3's testing thing that is beyond their control.

I know a lot of people are really anticipating this DLC, and want it as soon as possible. I think there is some confusion with the term Holiday Season tho. The Holidays don't end with X-Mas the season technically ends after New Years. I'd like to get my hands on the new content as well, but cut the dudes at Bioware a little slack and don't freak out if RtO isn't wrapped up nicely for you under the tree in the morning. People get really busy during the Holidays with family and friends. I'm sure the same goes for the folks at Bioware.

Yeah holiday season is really ambiguous. But I assumed it would be either before christmas or after New Years. Nothing is ever released between those two dates.

I think they did want to release it during the Christmas holidays. But the PS3 issue set them back.

Well maybe they need to not use such ambiguous terms and actually say "hey we what we mean is..." or whatever when you go and label something "Holiday Season" 1 month before x-mas 99.9% of the people are gonna think that you mean Christmas and if not Christmas then new years, but they still should have been ALOT more clear about the date.

Personally I'm gonna quit waiting on it, I've beaten the game 6 times and really not that worried about anymore with Mass Effect 2 coming out in a month no one is going to give 2 sh*ts about this game again until a real expansion comes out. Don't get me wrong I loved the game but really who cares about a 1-2 Hour DLC when you have a full game coming out in a month? And I bet you the folks at Bioware are thinking the same thing.

Not everyone has or will ever have Mass Effect... I prefer these kind of games, NWN, etc, where you have magic n swords etc.  I'm not much into shooting games... Even though they have that new game coming out I hope they won't forget about this 1.  I was tickled pink when I heard about this game cause it seems like the dang shooting games are becoming more popular then these, what a shame too cause not everyone likes those kind of games, or for that matter these lol...

I wonder why they made this DLC, why would you want to return to an empty wasteland in Ostagar where you spent all of half an hour to an hour doing the ritual. There is nothing there but darkspawn and no plot items. If they added in plot items you could give to Morrgin or a companion. I would see use for this.

Yep the armor, sword and shield is just just a reskin of the cheviliers armor, keening blade, and tower shield which I already made with the toolset using the armor gold skin and the heraldy of the king for the shield. I hope the DLC has more then this for us.

No worries, they have cheerleaders, in very short skirts, and look, I have one of their panties right here *pushes every darkspawn over as they look*

That's pretty ignorant, to be honest. To think they're taking employees off of Dragon Age content after it being out only two months? Because of Mass Effect 2? No.

I'm sorry, but I hated Mass Effect. And I know a lot of people that feel the same. Sci-Fi shooters parading as would be RPG's do not appeal to everyone, just as Fantasy RPG's do not appeal to everyone. This game is a huge success. Sure, it's not perfect but it's a great game.

Also, on a side not of personal interest, I'd like to know how many hours you put into each playthrough. Considering that 6 playthroughs in a little over a month and a half means that you beat the game roughly once a week. I logged 84 hours on my first character, and I didn't even get all of the quests done. I'm just curious.

My first playthrough was only 30 hours or so. Granted, I missed a lot of stuff, and my next playthrough was a lot longer, but.

I've been through the game 7 times. The first 3 play through's taking the longest Like 60-80 hours. After that though I was more concerned with finishing just the things I had missed in the game not finishing all the stuff I had done before since those achievements carry over from game to game on your profile. But 30-35 hours is about what it takes me as well for just doing a pretty straight forward play through, and I have like 84% of the game complete.

Some achievements like setting 25 traps, and 10 hard intimidate attempts completed seem to be bugged.

Oh don't get me wrong I love this game and will continue to play it and when the DLC comes out I will be getting it, I'm just gonna quit holding my breath for it, most likely it'll probly be out around or just after new years, but I'm gonna quit checking every day is more what I was getting at.

Also I don't usually like shooters but Mass Effect really hooked me for that particular game, also bought both books:), they're wonderful too hopeing we get some DA:O books actually. Sorry for how that came out in the first post.

I don't think I'll be holding my breath for this one - once you become familiar with the toolset the appeal of new gear rapidly loses it's sheen, as you can just build whatever you want. That said, I'm keeping my Warden Commander armour. I'm still using mostly base installation gear with the exception of the armour.

What I am intrigued by, however, is the whole Duncan background thing. I think that will be worth the £3 charge or whatever it is.
