They have said there are "planned" console ports but no dates have been announced yet AFAIK.

There was a.. The Witcher: Rise of the White wolf? Something like that, that was stated as coming to the 360. Heard nothing else though, not that i blame them at the moment

I read the cd-project team confirmet that tw2 its only on PC in fact you can see a video on youtube that one of cd-project guy say it

I saw an interview where Tomasz Gop says that they are planning to release console ports for TW2 at some point but they don't have a time frame in mind yet. He also confirmed that they tried, but gave up on any console ports for TW1.

I think it's probably trickier to go from PC to console than the other way around.

Okay, ignore what i said (for now) it was apparently cancelled due to financial reasons. Such a shame. Apparently about halfway through, they dont know when they'll take it up again. Just google the game title and any number of sites say as such

CD Projekt's Red engine looks a lot more console friendly than the heavily modified Aurora engine they were working with before. They already mentioned in the past The Witcher 2 can run on consoles.

Good! Witcher 2 would defo get rid of the sour aftertaste that is DA2.

CDProjekt made their engine specifically to take advantage of PC hardware but made it so it can run on old hardware. First they want PC to get Witcher 2 and they said something about bringing it to consoles at a later time.

I'll buy it just to support them since they aren't a huge developer/company already buying 2 copies of Witcher 2.

It would be nice for them to port to console. You know so I can actually experience the game pretty much everybody in the DA2 forums are talking about besides how DA2 sucks.

CDProjekt are pretty big in Eastern/Central Europe, especially Poland.

There's been rumors, but you'd think this late in developement they would of confirmed it by now.

I can only hope. Regardless I'll be playing it one way or another, just to see what all the hype is about.

If it wasn't coming to consoles they would have just said no its not when asked about it, but they keep saying things like "we are thinking about it" and "possibly" which to me indicates its already under way. Probably just don't want to anounce it until after the pc release incase they get accused of selling out and getting the backlash DA2 got.

they tried it with the witcher rise of the white wolf.. but seems they abbandoned the project... I hope console users will see the witcher 2 on console.. the witcher 2 is a nice title..

I do hope console gamers get the game sooner or later. much as I hate that consoles get so many games that never make it to PC I don't blame the gamers for that
