Do any of you know of an option where I can recreate my ME:2 character for ME:1 while using a ME:1 save that’s about half way through the game?

With all the great news coming out about ME:3, I have been toying around with the idea of starting a new run of ME:1-2 though to be honest, I thought much of ME:1 to be rather slow and boring. I much prefer the more fast-paced combat system of ME:2. However, I was hoping that there was an option where I could use something like Gibbed’s Save Editor to modify a save file from ME:1 so I don’t have to play the entire game over again.

1. Open an ME2 save file that has the suicide mission finished in gibbed save game editor. If you don't have one, you can download one from here:

2. Edit the ME1 plot flags to your liking
3. Save the file
4. Import that file in new game+
That should work.
