Anyone else laugh when they saw this as an armor upgrade for Izzy? One would think she gets all the rigid boning she needs already...

On a more serious note, assuming that is referring to the piece that goes in a corset, I can't see how she'd be able to fight wearing that. She'd be breathless before the battle really began and her ability to dodge and move about would be somewhat hindered.

If we're being realistic she'd be dead from the extremely lethal cocktail of STD's that was her body by age 20 from sleeping with every sailor in the Waking Sea and Amaranthine Ocean. And yet she lives on...^_^

Has Gaider ever said that they had condoms in Thedas? All he's mentioned from what I hear is that they have some birth control tea stuff but not any condom-esque contraception...

lol standard healing magic might do for the average Thedasian, but Izzy is a special case. SuperAIDS doesn't respond well to it, she'd need Andraste's ashes mixed with some Grey Warden Joining potion; and that's just the initial dose.

Why wouldn't they? Most of the technology they have is possible from medieval times...

Yup it was a funny pun. Both for the name and because it really is something you put in bodices and corsets. (like she wears)

It is? Ha! That's priceless. I thought it was just something the writers made up and sounded about right in the context of corsets.(a mouthful of alliteration! yum.)^_^

I didn't even realize the double entendre.  I spent so much time tradeskilling in Everquest, which actually uses rigid bonings as a component, that I didn't think anything of it when I saw it.  I feel robbed of my inpurity now.  :(

The question is: Would the risk be worth the totally awesome art of blood magic Isabela can perform on your nether regions?

You be the judge!
