Ok so I went to the guy in the tower and I got the 65 sovergins and the dagger. I then have the option of of asking why he needed the lyriun. Whats the best reward for this? Should I ask him to share the wealth or turn him into Gregoir?

Define "best". Sharing the wealth is blackmail, and gets you 8 more sovs.

Turns out even if you pick to tell Gregor you can't actually tell him and nothing happens
