Just got the game, but I am confused on the points to "buy" more content.
I did use my code, but is the only way to get other content by spending more real money ?
Or as my character levels up will I get points that way ?

What system did you buy the game for? The only "points" required to buy additional content are either BioWare Points or Microsoft Points. Every new copy (aka not used) gets The Stone Prisoner and Blood Dragon Armor DLC for free, the only additional content you would need points for is Warden's Keep and for that you would have to spend $7 worth of whatever points your system uses (And yes, that is real dollars). Any future DLC will also cost real money as well.

To the left in the menu select "Profile" you will see "Add Bio Points" with the Paper US Currency Icon. That is how you add more points. I think Warden's Keep is 560 points (or $7).

I bought it for the pc, new. I did get a new area to go to for some golem creature, but not sure I have to start a new game or not for that.
