So I boosted Hawke's attack speed to 100000 just to see what would happen. As a result, he attacked like the Flash with those speed dashes behind him as you see in comics. Makes me wonder why Bioware would go through the trouble of adding those small graphic elements since we would never be able to reach super speed in the regular game.

The hard cap is +350% attack animation speed. The soft cap is ~220% attack animation speed. You see those speed dashes with double Haste, Barrage, Fervor and Thumbs Up.
