I have never dwelved into what those stars ratings for each item are for. But I noticed that 2 items in particular: Ring of Archmage and Ring of Shadow Hunter show up as 5 stars in Isabella's inventory window. But as soon as I switch it to someone else, they become 4 stars.

What gives?

it shows how useful given item is to selected party member class

for example if you select Anders - Mage Staff will show 4 stars
if you select Isabella, same Staff will show 0 stars - simply because Isabella cant use Mage Staff at all
