I notice that my PC does not meet the recommended CPU requirement...technically, at least. I have an E8500, which is a Core 2 Duo running at 3.16 GHz. Is DA2 well-enough optimized for multithreading that a quad core at a much lower speed is actually superior? At the time I bought my PC, the E8500 was actually faster on most games than much more expensive quad-cores, and from what I've seen the price tag on the higher speed quad cores is still quite high. Will I be facing a slide show on my dual-core CPU? I don't feel like getting a new motherboard, so I'll be sticking with socket 775.
Alternatively--though I'm above the recommended specs here already--I could pick up a second Radeon 4850 video card. Worth doing or overkill? I was able to run DA:O at 1680x1050 resolution with most stuff other than anti-aliasing turned on without trouble and that's as high as my monitor goes.
So...is an upgrade in order for DA2, and if so, what will get me the most improvement?
Upgrade advice for DA2?

CPU I can't offer any meaningful advice, but on the GPU side I'm fine with my 4850, everything on high and I can't say I notice any performance issues aside from some occasional chug, but that seems random.

You should be fine.
I have a Q6600 at stock and it runs 1680 x 1050 at playable (if not entirely smooth) FPS with an 8800GT.
If you have a slightly beefier card and faster CPU, you should be golden.
