C'mon people: if you're gonna do yet another round of this silly Paragon/Renegade holy war crap, at least do it up in style.  Call ancestry into question.  Make unwarranted assumptions about one another's real-world success in career/love/life-in-general based on trivial ME choices.  Insults in image macro form.  Tired memes.  Jazz hands.  Make the forums burn with the heat of thousand relay-displacing supernovas!

Blue is the better color, hence Paragon is better.

Water is blue and life can't live without water. Asari are (mostly) blue, and everyone likes the Asari man. The hottest stars are generally blue colored, so umm yeah all y'all Renegades just got burnt! Garrus wears blue armor and face paint (Paragon FTW!). The Blue Suns are Blue and they're the best Merc group out there.  Also Geth have Blue flashlights. Heck even the Mass Relays and Biotics have Blue colored effects.

See Blue/Paragon is winning.

My honest opinion of Cerberus can be neatly put together by this one comic strip made on my other favorite site 'The Escapist'.

Please Cerberus fans do not take this to great offence. I'm mostly just clowning around.

Okay, that's pretty funny

You know what else has blue on it? Gundam and back in the day it was badass so Paregon wins.:wizard:

I am very happy for you OP.

I play both paragon and renegade. I have been arguing with myself a lot lately, to the point where several independant moderators have had to ban several versions of myself for trolling.

Red colour FTW!
Red is the colour of our blood, which pumps through our body and keeps us alive! Shepard's default N7 armour has a red strip on it, therefore Shepard is a BOSS! Red is for renegades who have the better dialogue options and better interupts, everyone loves pushing the merc out of the window! The "3" in the ME3 logo is red. The Awesome button is red, which is awesome. To conclude, this all means that renegades are canon and you should all feel bad about being paragon!
Red leader standing by!

I think I'm getting the hang of this trollin' malarkey. :wizard:

No, it's not. It's pretty simple. It's legal as long as the general populace allows itself to governed by the group in question.

It stops being legal as soon as the populace, as a majority, decides it no longer recognizes that authority.

That basicaly sums it up. Woe on us naive and whimpy paragons.

I think your willingness to admit the truth about yourself is a step in the right direction. It will improve your whole life.

Perhaps I will one day be one of those cool renegade types who always are right. For now though I am just a human being without that godlike power of knowing the only possible logical outome of every decision. Us paragons have that tendency of trying to see things from more than one point of wiev so we can never have that charming arrogant and superiour attitude many renegades have.

And the Council is, you know...the Council. They, legally, represent the galaxy.

They're also racist, oppressive and keep the 'lesser races' from having any say in galactic politics.

Meh, neither are good. Everyone's bad, just Cerberus are more open about it. Personally, going rogue seems to be the best idea.

My Renegade Shepard has this to say: "I'm not with Cerberus. Cerberus is with ME!"

My Paragon Shepard says this: "I will not fear comprimize who I am, neither will the human race alienate itself!"

My Canon Shepard will say: "I HATE Cerberus!"

Why do people latch onto that one sentence so much? TIM says basically the same thing about Shepard. The Council implies that they are the galaxy! It's just a figure of speech.

That's the thing: for TIM, I don't think it really is "just a figure of speech".  Dude really seems to mean it.

And the Council didn't?

It's self-identification rhetoric. The Alliance is Humanity, the Council is the Galaxy, and so on. Where does the implied literalism come in?

And they don't even control the galaxy.

They don't even control all of the 2% they've surveyed.

The Council composes all the galaxy in the same way the city of New York composes North America.

I agree though. Hm...

More like 'We control the interstate and all that you can see from it: we represent the United States!'

Only, they don't control the entire interstate.

It's a shame that Timmy is likely going to go after me in me3, I don't agree with his methods or even motives, but I thought he was an excellent ally to have.

I'm probably going to be flamed for saying this, but I thought it was pretty clear from the very beginning that Timmy had no intention to stay true to Shepard. Most of the time it felt like he was using Shepard (albeit for a good reason), but it was never a stretch to think he could turn on you any second.

I agree, though not necessarily with the sentiment I read behind it. TIM had no intention of being a permanent ally to Shepard... and Shepard never gave any sign of entertaining a permanent alliance with TIM. TIM used Shepard openly, and Shepard all but took a microphone to announce how (s)he was using TIM for the colonists and not out of any love for the Illusive Man.

It was always an alliance of mutual convenience, and never suggested as anything else. If TIM saw offing Shepard as the greater good for humanity... well, whatever the costs indeed. And if most Shepard's had their way and the opportunity, they'd have killed TIM whether it benefited them or not.

Basically the working relationship of the USSR and the Western Powers in WW2.

Also, Casey Hudson says we won't know the real reason behind Shepard being hunted by Cerberus until we actually play ME3, which, quite honestly, leads me to believe there is more to it than just Cerberus being themselves.
