 I am begging someone to assist me. I have had this problem since December, of 2010. I have not been able to upload a character to the Bioware site since them.

INVALID PERSONA/GAME COMBINATION has been on my profile diagnostics for months now.

I DID change my gamertag. But EVERYTHING is linked on the EA website, and it is also showing up perfectly fine on this site (my new gamtertag).

HOWEVER, I still keep getting the invalid persona/game combination message under profile diagnostics.

I have done everything I know how to do, and I CANNOT get Bioware's attention, and no one I've called at EA can help me. They even escalated my trouble ticket to tier 3. I have exhausted EVERY option, and have gone over the FAQ section rgarding problems with getting characters to upload, with a fine tooth comb.

And no, this is NOT me, just being ignorant about the fact that sometimes it takes a while for my character to update, or appear on the page.

I know about removing armor, and re equipping armor, then saving, etc. I know those tricks.

This is something entirely different.

I swear to goodness DOESN'T ANYONE FROM BIOWARE MONITOR THESE FORUMS?

INVALID PERSONA/GAME COMBINATION? Why? My new, current gamertag is linked. It appears on my bioware profile, as well as on the EA site.

I HAVE ALSO SET MY XBOX LIVE gamertag as my DEFAULT PERSONA on the EA website.

I am begging you for instructions and wisdom on how to solve this mystery.

I have invested hundreds of dollars into Dragon Age 1, 2 and legends. I even hunted down every piece of DLC in existence, going as far as buying the entitlement codes for promo and pre-order DLC through ebay.

Please help me. Or forward this to someone who knows. I really deserve for my profile to be working.

What were you going to suggest? Maybe for me to take my Dragon Age Collector's Edition letter opener, and drive it into my neck?

I was originally commenting on how I have the same issue with Dragon Age Origins, what with my characters not uploading or updating, and being unable to delete any existing ones. Browsing through threads at the technical forum over at the DAO boards made me understand that there's no existing solution for this; it's also more than likely it's an Xbox issue rather than a BSN issue.

That being said, though, I mainly got the "Unable to connect to online storage server." message, rather than the "Invalid game/persona combination" one. I did get the latter a couple of times, but hardly as much as the former.

Judging by that, I assume there's no fix for your problem as of this very moment.
I got frustrated by it at first, but it's become more of a 'meh'-ish feeling by now. In the end, how important is it that your characters are displayed correctly online?

It's really important to me. Another thing is that I just cannot stand something being broken, and not working. I want to get the best experience possible, considering the amount of money and time I have invested.

So by the way, are you playing on the XBOX 360, as well?

For anyone playing on the XBOX 360 version, suffering from the "INVALID PERSONA/GAME COMBINATION" issue in ORIGINS, please move over the the XBOX360 tech support forum, and post your problems in my topic. Hopefully, it will be seen, by some of the dev's, considering they are working on the current problem with "unauthorized DLC" issue on the 360.

I WAS getting it on just DA:O. But I think you may have already seen in my other topic about how to get help for this issue, that my issue was solved a few days ago ;-)
