[QUESTION] Combining Models?

So, while working on my mod, I've discovered that Aveline's guard armors are not fullbody models, but are broken up into chest/glove/boot bits.

Can I smush them together? Or otherwise make it so that a chestpiece displays all three parts and overrides anything beneath them?

Christ! I've been very curious about this as well. I hope somebody post a reply to this question soon. If it is possible to combine different armor parts to make a new armor, I'd like to try impvroving the Grey Warden armor set further.

From what I can tell, Aveline's guard capt armor is a unibody.
Unibody - Unique - BDY_AVE (BDY_AVE)
Looking at the texture file confirms its the whole body.

However, her Year 1 guard outfit should be the 3 krka armor pieces that you find on just abotu every regular guard. I believe her armor is controlled by scripts because all of her armor item files all have 0 as a variation type.

That's not her guard captain outfit. That's her prologue outfit.

I'd considered using the Year 1 outfit, but considering how early she gets promoted (unless you put things off) and that there's a good bit of Act II before her second upgrade, I decided it was best just to make her first upgrade have the captain's appearance as well.

But, does anyone actually know if it's possible? I've messaged tmp7704, and he says it should be possible in theory, but the textures would need to be combined as well. *is clueless* :blink:
